Nick and Juliette see fireworks from their kitchen window and Nick tries to help her remember telling him some lame story about a song her uncle used to sign to her. She dramatically pauses and then claims that she, too, remembers telling him this story.
She goes on to tell him that the last thing she remembers was that Nick was telling her about his ancestors and how they could see things that other people couldn’t see and that Nick was able to do this as well.
They begin to kiss, and just as I scratch my first eye out, it shows that Nick is actually dreaming and none of the just happening. After finding an eye patch, I am able to celebrate that Nick is still sleeping on a couch.
I remember… I remember…
False alarm (pun intended).
She doesn’t remember.
That was a close call.
Somewhere in Portland a little girl waits with her suitcase and a stuffed animal for a man to pick her up. I want to tell her that she’ll probs be waiting on that porch for years to come. But children are so innocent. She doesn’t need to know future disappoints so soon.
Oh honey, men will be leaving you alone on that porch for many years.
A man in work truck pulls up. It’s turns out to be her dad. She has a suitcase, they hug, and are off for a father/daughter adventure.
Hey little girl, come here. I have puppies in my van.
Monroe is at the apothecary shop and Rosalee calls to check in on him and how he’s handling the death of Angelina. Rosalee is still with her sick aunt’s house, but Monroe has been kicking ass at the shop.
The shop is great… I learned to make meth.
Silly rabbit, meth is for kids.
She tells Monroe that Leroy is a customer and needs something made up for him. Monroe is up for the challenge. She gives him the instructions and he diligently writes them all down and promises her that he will take care of Leroy.
The father/daughter duo are at a gas station, but his cards are being declined. (Been there.) As he walks out of the store, the father woges into a beast. (Yep, been there too.) The shop owner is on the phone with his girlfriend when he hears a noise outside and he goes to see what happened. Nothing is shown, but you hear growling, tearing, and screaming. (The growling is definitely my stomach. I’m trapped in a hotel room and am starving to death.)
