Watch out guys, AshSmash woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. 

“I woke up on right side. The right side of the tanning bed!” 

As if we don’t have enough shows about West Virginia, let’s introduce Gypsy Sisters. 

You know what’s even greater than reality shows about West Virginia? Reality shows with a TWO hour season premiere. But all in all, I’m actually pretty excited about this show. In the first episode we’re introduced to all the sisters and their wild shenanigans. 

Since last night was the season premiere of the Walking Dead and my dad is a zombie freak, he took over the TV, so I’m getting around to watching the episode. So I’ll have the full cap up in a couple of days. 

I’m excited! I’ve missed y’all and I can’t wait for the comments. This is a TLC show, and in the past we’ve actually had cast members comment so I hope Nettie and Mellie and all the others hop on board.

    This is one reality show that won’t be accused of being scripted because I’m pretty sure none of these people can read.

    Mellie def seems like she may have a drug problem, looks-wise. That being said, I love this show, they were he best part of gypsy wedding.

    Oh boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This looks like delightful!!!! I hope TLC gives lots of sub-titles. I thought she was saying “mineral oil”–she was saying “motor oil” will give you a good tan. ANd with the potential for all the reading I may have to do, that is a challenge on a drinking game.

    To quote (closely) Nicholas Cage in “Moonstruck”—”I have the feeling this is going to be just delicious”

    @Lab and @Tracy, if they all brush their teeth with chlorine bleach as demonstrated on their first MBFAGW epi, there shouldn’t be much to worry about. That and the meth ought to about do it.

    WHY oh WHY do I love these people so much!??!?! Not sure…but they’re pure entertainment…

    Kalya and Laura playing straight man to Mellie and Nettie’s crazy…gold I tell you!!

    And how the hell do they stay so damn skinny with all that crap they eat!!?? NO FAIR!!

    Classic the first episode ends with Mellie falling and puking. You are right Sweet, this show is pure comedy gold. Ash I can not wait for your recaps.

    they actually eat vinegar with everything to stay skinny , apperently it fills u up. lol i love this hot mess of a show , mellie seems cool unless u get on her bad side, but who would be so dumb to mess with her!

    I am all for good trashy reality tv, but when it comes to puke, I draw the line…That is one thing I can’t deal with! TLC likes to show it too…

    Hmm maybe when the sun finally comes out in Western WA I will bust out the motor oil and see if I can get a tan!

    & wait a minute, in the 1st episode , nettie says her son heath is dating some shannon girl ?? But last season on american gypsy wedding, i thought heath married that alyssa girl that nettie and mellie wanted to beat up.? Am i just confused?? bc i know nettie has 9 kids so who knows, but i coulda swore it was heath

    Yeah you gotta give it to these women for how they look after massive amounts of kids! Especially Nettie being a grandmothe and mother of 9!

    dancemoms: Heath’s marriage to Alyssa lasted an entire month. I think they talked about it on that reunion show at the end of My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding.

    I am a former writer for TVgasm (SlifeGoesOn) and am currently the Supervising Producer on “Gypsy Sisters.” SO glad that TVgasm is recapping this show and that everyone likes it so much! Trust me – none of the hijinks are scripted! They really are that wild and crazy!
