   Scandal!!!

   I dunno, I’ve been bitten by the scripted show bug this year.. I know it isn’t as popular as reality TV when it comes to recapping but maybe.. okay, i got nothing. I just realized that i watch mostly sitcoms. So, yea.. Scandal would be great.. there’s something snarkalicious about unrequited love with a married man who just happens to be the president, amirite? Oh and all of the over the top scandals each week.. Some nondescript criminals ask for $6 million in exchange for a cardboard box with mysterious contents, Olivia Pope shows up with $3 million..they hand over the box. She takes it to her office where it sits on the table with the top flaps open until the ambassador and his wife show up, reach in the box, and pull their baby from it. Because Olivia was content to leave that baby in the box until its parents showed up. She’s a fixer not a nurturer. And girl can wear the heck out of a pants suit!

   I love Scandal too!
   Pretty Little Liars is a guilty pleasure of mine, because, well- full of drama and bitchy girls and CRAZY plotlines for girls that are supposed to be in high school… a show that makes no sense, and yet I can’t turn away.
   Definitely Smash. Enough said.

   Dash, PPL does get recapped. I am not sure if Hypnotad is back or not yet, I do love his PPL recaps. But the recapper that took over for him does a nice job as well. I also thought Smash was getting recapped….IDK!

   I do know that the shows I like get recapped for the most part. I also like The Lying Game on ABCFamily. It is so nice that some of my monday and tuesday night shows are going to be back…it has been pretty boring around here as of late. I can only take so many Big Bang Theory reruns. I think I know all the episodes now!

   @thisbuggs4u, I have a show suggestion: Misfits!

   It is amazing!! It’s a British show, about a group young deliquents stuck with community service who develop some weird powers after a freak storm. (no superhero type stuff..but makes for great plot devices!) It’s really grounded in reality, though.. and it’s hilarious!! Also, touching, suspenseful, and even thrilling at times. It has it all! I think Logo started airing episodes but I watch on Hulu. A must see…just make sure no kids are around. TV-MA indeed!

   The season are 6-8 episodes long so it’s easy to power through. I’m on season 3 now and I just started a week ago. It’s that addictive, especially the first two seasons.

   I second the Misfits recommendation. I’ve only seen a couple of episodes, but I’m really enjoying it so far.

   I am so glad that you asked!

   This isn’t about a show; but since I am home and all…

   I want a forum like we had before we got hacked. Man, talk about fun stuff. Especially during Big Brother season when our talented fellow Gasmii do the live recaps! If I could bottle the funny that came out of that forum…well, folks just have to experience it.

   It also gives folks a place to post and discuss when they don’t want to disrupt the flow of a thread if they have something to say that may be a bit off topic.

    King of the Nerds. It’s a new “throw people together in a house and have them do challenges” reality competition series. Only with gigantic nerds, which may prove to be ridiculously recap-worthy.

    all I want is for the Kar-trashians to go away–just away. BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOO–they are spawning AGAIN!!!! Jebus on a pony–that cooter of Kim’s has to be as nasty as Snooki’s–so what the hell between Kate Middleton and this clown Kim we shall be on vag-watch within a few months.
    And why isnt KanYe West’s mama ( or any wise senior lady in his family I shall dub Mom-Ye) screaming about this mess????

    SO I want the Kartrashians gone….world peace and ya know— I would love for the Patricia Cornwell novels to make it to TV–the Dr Scarpetta series. OK-thank you.

    Kanye’s mother died. I think that’s why the fool has gone off the GD deep end and is with that crazy goat faced heiffa. He needs to realize he’s not Hova and she’s not Bey. And, babies are not publicity stunts or accessories like Paris Hilton’s chiuaua.

    I vote Vaderpump Rules, BRTX & BRATL…I think those have trashtastic potential. Maybe even Duck Dynasty?

    How about dropping the old boring reality shows ie any thing from MTV. ANTM could go as well as Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother etc. It’ s time to start with new blood. Why oh why was no one recapping Gigolo’s? Three seasons of missed Bracisms is a disservice to all of us who like reality tv.

    Finding Bigfoot. That show is hysterical! A popular refrain in our group of friends has become “It’s a ‘squatch!” This can be used for anything…weird noises, funny looking people, strange shadows. I’d even volunteer to recap it!
    Seeing as my captcha is “as you wish,” I really think it is meant to be. Just like Westley and Buttercup.

    I was afraid to add scripted shows…Portlandia, The Layover (sorta half & half), The Daily Show??? WWHL?

    I was thinking of going off the map a little…as I find myself watching Duck Dynasty and I don’t know why.

    What about Commercialgasm? Like Watercooler but with ridiculous commercials like the damn Charmin “Bears shitting in the woods” campaign? WTFug is that and why aren’t we discussing how wrong it really is!??!

    Would love a Y&R recap as it is redic sometimes – these people never work and are parents only when convenient. However I would assume it would be a helluva challenge as it is a daily show – maybe a weekly review would work?

    But in regards to Sharon, years ago she wasn’t crazy. She was level headed and was trying to reel from the loss of her marriage and her child. Now she’s just wacko bonkers…that’s was Phyllis and Sheila’s job. Or just bring on more Patty!!! I love a good crazy person on my stories.

    Looking forward to the new forums, just in time for Big Brother. Folks that haven’t been to the BB forum are in for a treat if you are a fan of BB. It is also, like Classy said, a place to take conversations without disturbing the flow of a recap. We also play Fantasy Survivor as a tribe during the Survivor season.
