Despite the best efforts of some of the people around her, Lindsay Lohan lived to turn 21 today. Now, turning 21 in rehab isn’t the optimal experience for a young woman, let alone one of the best young actresses of her generation, but when we think of Merle Haggard’s song about turning 21 in prison doing life without parole and all those times she rocketed around in her SUV high on booze and cocaine, we’d say Lindsay Lohan is one lucky gal.

As the above pix from the weekend indicate, she’s got an iPhone, she’s drinking water and she’s not celebrating 21 at a vodka bash in Vegas.And we’d say she’s got a better chance of not only making it to 22, but getting her family in order and winning an Oscar®.

    WTF does this have to do with TV (this being TVGasm and all)? Unless you’re counting her illustrious TV appearances such as her 1991 “Trick-or-Treater Dressed as Garbage” on the Late Show.

    LOHAN IS 21. SOLDIERS 18 ARE DYING IN IRAQ.ONE OF THE REASONS THERE DYING IS FOR HER FREEDOM TO DO THE THINGS SHE DOES. AT 21 SHE SHOULD ATTACH HERSELF TO GOOD CAUSES NOT LOST ONES. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND TALENTED BUT NEEDS GROUNDING NOW
