Man, it feels like it’s been forever, huh? Was it a long few weeks, waiting to hear from me? Or waiting to see McG, at least. Obviously, that. How can you not miss McG?
Anyway, this was a pretty solid episode on the whole, but I feel that they missed a golden opportunity. You all may think less of me when you figure out what I’m saying. But that’s ok.
So, it all kicks off with an airplane coming into Honolulu. Funny thing happened on the way to touch down, though. A US Marshall and his prisoner are on the flight, and the Marshall runs to the bathroom to make a call…suddenly, the plane is landing, and the convict is gone, and the stewardess finds the US Marshall dead in the bathroom. Danno and McG arrive on the scene, and Danno actually knows the guy from Jersey. They salvage his cell, and learn that he was trying to call Danno when he was killed! Wuh-oh, this can’t be good! Unfortunately, the case isn’t so simple as to have the prisoner as the killer, either. It turns out there was another bad guy on the plane, and THAT’S who killed the Marshall!
Through some thrilling detective work, McG and Jin track down this other bad guy, and find his house. The run through the place, and find a laptop with a whole bunch of surveillance of Danno and SpaceGrate and Rachel. Like a WHOLE bunch. And now we know why the Marshall was trying to get ahold of Danno.
Right on cue, a guy in a cop uniform shows up and picks SpaceGrate up from tennis practice. And then Danno gets the call. It turns out this guy used to be Danno’s partner in Jersey, and Danno testified against him because he was stealing cash and drugs from crime scenes, and the dude went away for 10 years and lost everything. So it’s all revenge.
I wouldn’t want to spoil the climax or anything, so I’ll just call it here. Good to see you guys again.
If you like it, spread it!:

who was the actor that played the bad cop? what other tv shows/movies was he in? why does he look so familiar?
I only recognized him from The Mask…
Also, as a side note, I don’t want anyone to think I didn’t notice the Taylor and McG “moment.” I just figure it’d be better saved for when I could do it justice….
