Squeeze over! Kristen Bell’s joining Heroes

Kristen Bell is joining the crowded cast of NBC’s Heroes.

The former star of Veronica Mars will show up amid the mob in October, in a “key multi-episode arc. She’ll be playing “Elle,” described as “a sexy, mysterious young lady who has ties to the supposed death of Peter, H.R.G.’s past and the future of Claire.”

Elle will start by committing a serious crime, though it son’t be clear if she’s good or bad.NBC is very proud about snagging Kristen, who was being sought for a role on Lost and has a regular role voicing the narrator in CW’s new Gossip Girl.

Kristen also plays the title character in Judd Apatow’s upcoming movie, Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

    my life started and ended within the 5 minutes that i heard she might be joining lost and then the news that she wasn’t. this is almost as good of news.
