We all remember last week when TVgasm broke the story exclusively about Amazing Race All Stars. Well it seems you’re not the only people to find it out exclusively at TVgasm, some of the racers did too and are none too happy about it.

After the jump you’ll find a video message from Amazing Race winners Chip and Kim discussing their frustration with Bruckheimers decision to do an Amazing Race All Stars…..and not invite them back. Seems they too had to learn about it on TVgasm. While they don’t break the confidence of those who are on ARAS they do mention a few people who are NOT coming back for the all star edition. So if knowin who is not going to run the race is a spoiler to you, you may want to avoid the video.

On a side note, I am somewhat saddened to see Chip and Kim so raw and pathetic, you can almost see them choking on the bitter pill.

Video confirmation of Amazing Race All Stars after the jump.

I don’t think that’s real. There are too many jump cuts — a product of pure homemade video work.

Nah, too many of those teams are highly forgettable. I’ve been watching AR since it began, and I don’t remember all of them.

No, it’s fake. However, I think it’d be brill to have two teams of FOUR competing alongside couples. O_O

Can’t see the video but it doesn’t matter. If Chip and Kim are so desperate that they need to be on TAR again, then they didn’t use their winnings wisely. I’d love a crack at whatever their million came to after taxes.

As for contestants, I’d hope the show would go with some of the more interesting also rans. You could have Terry and Ian, the oldest couple to make it to the final three. There are also some who went out all too early who would be good call backs.

As for teams of four, the show is still recovering from the dreadful Family Edition, plagued by the whiniest team ever, the Weavers. That and the fact they went nowhere almost ruined this show. TAR 10 has brought the magic back.

Here is what the (fake) video said were the allstar teams:

    Peter & Sarah (gak)
    Millie & Chuck
    Lori & Bolo
    Rob & Amber (double gak)
    Bransen family
    Erwin & Godwin
    Meredith & Maria
    David & Jeff
    Godlewski family
    Russell & Cindy
    Monica & Sheree
    Debbie & Bianca

I don’t even recognize some of these teams. Maybe whoever made it put themselves in, or their friends.

No, they are all formers teams on the show. I’m a rabid TAR fan and recognize each team. Millie and Chuck were the virgins who dated for 12 years on #4. Lori and Bolo were married wrestlers (#6). Meredith & Maria were two friends from NY eliminated 2nd because the one couldn’t drive a stick shift(#6). David & Jeff were in #4 (known as the Goats because of their goatees) who came in third but never made it to the final pit stop. Russell & Cindy were a dating couple from #4 who sounded as if they were breaking up when they were eliminated. Monica & Sheree were football players’ wives from #4 and Debbie & Bianca were from the same season as Rob & Amber (#7) who were eliminated because they drove to the coast of Chile instead of through the Andes. Doesn’t mean the list is true, though.

I always thought it would be a good idea to have a TAR season made of all of the people who were eliminated at the first pitstop. After ten seasons they can almost get a group of eleven teams out of it, especially considering the two teams who were eliminated by the first pitstop on the current season.

Then again, I’m sure the networks and the advertisers are not salivating at the prospect of Amazing Race No-Stars Edition. So, I predict we will see Rob and Amber again.

why? Why? WHY?!? Must we be subjected to more Romber?!? WHY?!?

There are much more interesting teams that actually meet the criteria that Phil likes to see in a team. Let’s call it PhilteriaÔ. Teams should be looking to strengthen bonds, or overcome inabilities or find enlightenment of some kind or another. Let’s face it, the only thing that Rob wants is the Prize money. Why must we, the audience be subjected to more of Rob’s wanton greed? In summary, Phil’s expectation is for teams to walk away from the race with something more than money. I don’t believe that Romber met this PhilspectationÔ.

Ok, I’m climbing down from my soapbox.

If that truly is the list of All Stars, somebody truly got it wrong or they couldn’t get a single true All Star to come back. Were are John Veto & Jill (3)that my fave team, ever.
