  • Plus-sized star Mo’Nique was kicked off a United Airlines flight when the crew allegedly thought a hairdryer in her entourage’s carry-on luggage posed a threat. Officials explained that they didn’t feel comfortable having someone on board who might potentially barge through the reinforced cockpit door, but the airline later recanted the statement when they discovered they had simply mistaken the actress for the Kool-Aid man.     I can’t believe the AP actually wrote an article about how Ken Jennings was slamming Jeopardy!. Did anyone there actually read the post?

    gotta admit, i don’t visit the ‘gasm a whole lot during the summer, as the shows that pollute the airwaves from may – september are either repeats or just generally suck.
    i mean if there was something going on with the LOST blog, i’d be on all the time.
    but rockstar?
    the cooking show?
    the n-sync guy is gay story?
    n.t.

    but the ken jennings piece was worth the visit, if for no other reason than this…

    “Bob Barker ends every show with a plug for his personal favorite cause. ‘Spay or neuter your pet!’ or whatever. Something like this would humanize Trebek. I propose a new sign-off, along the lines of, ‘Can our returning champion do it again on tomorrow’s show? Tune in and find out, everybody. Legalize cannabis. Good night.’”

    He is subjected to sitting for four hours while being made up for his staring role in a hit television show?! Poor baby! Who knew it would suck so much to be a working actor?

    Ugh – what a whiney ass annoying little bitsu!

    And what is up with Ken Jennings? I think he must be wearing his Mormon garments just a little too tight lately….
