Lindsay Lohan missed her scheduled appearance on Live with Regis and Kelly on Tuesday, declining to inform the show’s producers until after the show actually began at 9:00am. Though allegedly mired in the stomach-rending agonies of “food poisoning,” she was seemingly well enough to do a TRL appearance just hours later. Damn, I wish I knew how to “recover” so quickly from “food poisoning.” [AP]
In insert-your-own-joke-here news, Nicole Richie and fiancÃƒÂ© Adam Goldstein have called off their engagement. [AP]
And apparently even Martha Stewart hates The Apprentice: Martha Stewart. In an interview with Business Week published today, she laments the moronism of the contestants and says she agreed to do the show primarily because “it would get attention.” Actually I think you already had that covered with the whole prison thing. I have some tuna that’s been sitting in my fridge a couple weeks. I’m gonna send it to Lindsay so it doesn’t go to waste. I hope she likes celery.

what the hell is spraypainted on Lindsay’s back here? a tic-tac-toe board? Are her 15 minutes up yet?

(PS. she apparently beat out LB’S Kristin on VH1′s Big in 05 awards as this year’s “it girl”..looks like they are even for the whole Talan thing)

Lindsey was also healthy enough to go on z100 early that same morning (and actually gave a pretty good interview that made me think ‘wow, maybe that stuff about her is untrue and she’s actually fairly grounded’) but then she did that (not that i would agree to go on that dumb dhow in the first place). I have to show up to work every day, why shouldn’t she?

Sooo.. is this supposed to surprise me? That a spoiled little child actress blew off responsibility to be on the “cooler” show?
I’m hoping she’s gonna go down the road of all of the other child stars…. going to end up an alcoholic drugged out ho who will do celebrity boxing and get her ass kicked by Hilary Duff.
