IMO the new bond girl looks like sarah michelle gellar/prince in cruel intentions
Um, against my better judgement I watched the Kid Rock/Scott Stapp “teaser” video… I think I threw up in my mouth a little bit. Ewwwwwww
Eh. Eva Green’s english is way too good for me to get in a swoon.
Boo, she can speak English? Horrible.
Wow, she looks like a good choice. Have no idea what her acting’s like but that’s never been a huge requirement for a Bond girl. Too bad (if the curse of the Bond girl continues) odds are we’ll never see her again after this movie!
Right, Buzzy42! Cause I never hear the names Jane Seymour, Teri Hatcher, Famke Jansen, Michelle Yeoh, Denise Richards, Halle Berry ever…That’s a mighty powerful curse you’re talking about!
Terri hatcher wasnt a bond girl, she was like a third stringer that was killed off in 5 minutes.
#6, Jane Seymour was a bond girl when it actually meant something. Most of the more recent ones have been already well-known actresses, and I’d reckon that Denise Richards’s career is pretty much exactly cursed.
But seriously, who gives a rat’s ass about bond girls anymore.
Out of 20 movies, when Teri Hatcher, Michelle Yeoh, Denise Richards, and Halle Berry already had established careers, that isn’t a great track record.
I don’t think Eva Green fits in the same category. What I meant is this isn’t a “career-defining” role that you would think it would be from the hype it always gets. And many times, obscurity is the next step after a brief flirt with fame.
