Wow! What an interesting basis for a law suit. I’m not sure how the ladies can prove that the false advertising did them any harm, though. I mean, did any of them have even the slimmest hope of meeting Clay, falling in love, marrying and then finding out it was all a sham? Or is their complaint that Clay Aiken’s sexuality affected their enjoyment of his music? Or perhaps they are under the impression that they can catch “gay” by listening to him. How delusional are these women? Do they honestly think that any performer’s public persona is based on reality? I’m sure that very few performers show their real private side to the public. That’s why it’s called “private”.
As to Anna Nicole- I hope she gets the money. I think she deserves some of that fortune just for putting up with the old man (and his family). Besides, then maybe she can afford not to appear on television anymore. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Yeah damages are going to be hard to prove in this one here. Very weird. I would ask what lawyer would ever take this case, but that question is not really worth asking these days.
zevonia said it all regarding the fallen “Clay Nation”. Are these people insane?
Yes. Yes they are insane. For instance, they believed that Clay was heterosexual. I find it amusing that their complaint is based on tabloid claims that Clay is gay…as if even the claim somehow interferes with their “enjoyment”. Next thing you know, they will sue Tom Cruise (or the estate of Rock Hudson).
whats with anna nicole?
did you see her pics of her appearance today? shes hot all over again!
These whacked out Claymates have got to be the dumbest women in America, who also have a lot of time on their hands. Every Claymate I’ve seen is usually obese, middle aged, wears stretch pants and has really bad hair. Even if Clay were straight, these train wrecks wouldn’t have a chance, so what are they all bitchin’ about?
The hole is confused!

What’s with Anna Nicole, you ask?
It’s that TrimSpa, baby!
I just wonder whether Ms. Smith used the time-tested “Want some monnnnnney? Like my boddddddddy?” line on Clarence Thomas.
Humm . . . homophobic perhaps?
These nine woman are all church-going (I go church but am not a fanatic so don’t attack), right-wing neo-conservatives who were duped by Clay Aiken? They are more outraged by this dishonesty than the dishonesty of someone they voted for? That’s right — give me back my $16 and the hell with the future of America!
TVWilliams- “They are more outraged by this dishonesty than the dishonesty of someone they voted for?”
You win for wisdom of the day. I couldn’t have said it better myself. (not that I ever say anything all that well).
Poor Anna Nicole should get the $$$ – then maybe she can afford decent extensions.
Did you see the back of her head when the wind blew?
Nasty!
