Lg1This week, on an episode of The Ellen Degeneres Show, Las Vegas star Vanessa Marcil stopped by the studio and the two shared a wonderfully flirty conversation about … well Im not sure. Much like when I watch my guilty pleasure Las Vegas and Vanessa is on the screen, everything kinda mumbles together as I get enamored by her nipples which are constantly trying to be set free. One thing I did catch, was when the two were discussing Vanessa’s inclination to make gifts rather than buy gifts for her family and close friends at the holidays. Vanessa kept saying something to the effect that she wont be employed forever and she has to save her money while its coming in. Ellen replied several times with the old, “its a hit show.” “its not going anywhere” etc etc. and each time Vanessa quite sincerely implied concern that she may not be on the show much longer. This is me trying to read subtext and smirks from daytime TV and what I walked away from it with was that either Vanessa has the vibe that the show is going away, or perhaps her character is going away from the show. Neither scenario she seemed too keen on, nor do I. Vanessa, since we have so much in common, if you want to grab dinner or drinks to discuss. . . I am here for you.

I know I’ve just outed myself as a Las Vegas fan and watcher in a pointless column that sheds no light and asks more questions than it answers, but I do so with the hope that if you work on Las Vegas or know what’s going on over there, you will email me answers. She is the only humorous, likable character on the otherwise too cartoony heartless show and Las Vegas without Vanessa Marcil would be unwatchable.

Did anyone else catch this on (I think) Monday’s show? Anyone hear any gossip about the show going away or the fate of the character Sam? Woah is me!

I’ll never understand how women feel perfectly comfortable going out in public wearing clothes like that. I don’t mean “not embarrassed” – I mean COMFORTABLE. I’d spend all my time either looking down to make sure nothing escaped or worrying whether something escaped in the .6 seconds since I last checked.

There’s a lot we’ll put up with if we think it’ll make us look good. I’m secure enough to admit — Vanessa looks good.
