“Obviously, we hope that the entire Lost cast and crew are okay. If possible and when you can, please let us, your fans, know that you are all okay…”

That plea on the Lost-media.com website is one of many on Lost fansites and forums as fans reach out with questions, concern and information, after the major 6.6 earthquake and many aftershocks that rumbled through Hawaii, including the Lost locations on Oahu, this morning and throughout the day.

But so far, the fate of the cast, set and shooting schedule remain a mystery. Local newsmedia are reporting major structural damage and power outages throughout the state, but no fatalities so far.

ABC’s Lost is filmed on various beaches and locations along Oahu’s North Shore, which took much of the hit, so there are bound to be delays in production.

And though there’s no word on the fate of the cast or crew, Lost star Evangeline Lilly, who’s been vocal about her displeasure with paparazzi, traffic, bugs and people who say “Yay! Aloha!” in the Aloha State, can’t be thrilled with this latest development.

I can almost hear JJ’s pencil squeaking as he frantically writes this lastest dramatic occurance into the script.

    Aloha!

As a resident of Oahu, just thought I’d clear up some stuff. First, we did not take the major hit. The quake hit the Big Island of Hawaii which is about 150 miles south east of us. Don’t get me wrong… we got a hell of a jolt, and for someone from the Midwest, it was quite a way to wake up on a Sunday morning.

There are no fatalities and we are all slowly getting power. The island of Oahu, Honolulu in particular, is where the majority of the population of the islands live, so we were a priority and were only 14 hours without power. There are still a lot of places in the dark, but the islands are coming up slowly but surely.

The stars of Lost are just fine everyone.

I don’t see a problem, considering the main island part was in shambles anyway. No numbers entered = hilarity ensues.

gretcheepoo, thanks for the information. Glad to hear you’re OK.

Weird stuff…considering this season started with an earthquake. I sure hope this doesn’t delay the second half of the season!
