Newsgasm: Sara Evans’ husband blasts back

The other shoe has dropped in the Sara Evans divorce case, and it’s dropped right in the lap of her Dancing with The Stars dance partner.

It’s a regular low-rent Nashville version of the McCartney divorce, as Sara’s estranged husband Craig Schelske fires back with both barrels, stating in court papers today that he discovered his country star wife was having an affair last week– and argued about it — the day before Sara quit the dance competition and filed for divorce.

Craig doesn’t name Sara’s alleged lover in court documents he filed today in Tennessee, but word that tends to leak out in cases like this says the other man is Tony Dovolani (with Sara, above), her dance partner on the show. Tony and Sara were very comfortable together when he plopped down on the couch during her heartfelt and high-rated interview with Dancing host Tom Bergeron earlier this week. Sara and Tony made a lot of “in jokes” about him being “Albanian,” and then she announced he’d be sticking around to choreograph her upcoming concert tour.

Both deny they’re messing around. But Craig says he’s got more on Sara. Like naked photos and porn videos.Sara’s divorce suit accused Craig of abuse, heavy drinking, adultery, having a porn stash that included hundred of photos of himself in a state of “arousal”– and all that other good wing GOP country music stuff.

Craig Schelske, the failed Congressional candidate and GOP PACman, filed his court papers in Tennessee today. He denies having “any sexual photographs of himself with any other women as there are no authentic photographs of husband unclothed with any sexual partner or alone except– ” Now get this: “–except as taken by Wife or with Wife on the single occasion in which both parties participated.”

That was on their tenth wedding anniversary (and might count for the “arousal” reference). Craig felt compelled to add that he “regrets the incident but would state and show that Husband and Wife were acting as two consenting adults…”

Craig’s court response says the couple occasionally watched pornography together, and cites one occasion when their seven-year-old daughter–whom they believed to be asleep– walked into the room while Sara and Craig were watching porn, or as he phrases it, “adult entertainment.”

He also denies having sex with the nanny.

So let’s take a tally here: Sara Evans, aggrieved mother and country star, took and posed for naughty photos with her husband, and even watched porn with him. And she might not dislike Albanians, after all. Her time on Dancing may have been cut short, but when’s somebody going to turn this into a reality show of its own?
