  • As expected, South Park killed off Chef. Something weird is up though: past interviews show that Isaac Hayes had actually been pretty relaxed about the show’s jibes at Scientology, and there are rumors that he suffered a severe stroke back in January that’s been kept under wraps. Odd. [BBC]
  • Paula Abdul is blaming all her recent onscreen craziness on Simon Cowell, saying he whispers weird things in her ear during tapings of American Idol. Oh great, the “I’m hearing voices” defense. THE POWER OF COWELL COMPELS YOU. [MSNBC]
  • And while his wife Star Jones was at the hospital getting a breast lift this past Friday, Al Reynolds was taken to the emergency room after “slipping” at the gym and suffering two cuts to his head. Sadly, such are the risks of getting spreadeagled up against the wall in the men’s steam room. [AP]

but yeah, now that its coming out that isaac didn’t release that the statement about quitting, the nuts probably do have him detained somewhere

–did you really think queen al would let star get all the attention?

From that same MSNBC report about Paula’s insane rantings:

Separately, Abdul is said to be upset with Cowell’s favorite contestant, Kellie Pickler for supposedly valuing his support more than hers.

“Paula is a little irked that Kellie is acting as if she doesn’t need her,” an ˜Idol’ insider told the mag. “Kellie has got Simon’s vote, so Paula feels Kellie is working Simon and not bothering with her.”

Duh, Paula. When praise from you is almost a given, why should any contestant value it? Simon is the toughest customer, so obviously praise from him really means something.

Im from Memphis, TN….lived here my whole life(unfortunatly!) Isaac Hayes DID go to the hospital because he had a stroke. For most of America’s population, this would be a normal occurance, after having a stroke. “Scientologists” are anti- doctor/anti-medicine…..someone should bitch-slap Isaac back into reality.

I still enjoy watching American Idol but am SICK TO DEATH of Paula and her rantings and standing up and clapping etc. Just sit the hell down and act like a professional.

Considering how Scientology feels about doctors and medicine, I hope Mr Hayes’ is getting more help than vitamins and an auditing session. It now makes much more sense that someone else released that statement. It didn’t jive with anything Mr Hayes had previously said about the show. That fruity club is a scary group. Hail Xenu!

Poor Paula, shes short one Xanax bar of an intervention. She claimed this morning on Ryan’s radio talk show, that her latest bout of craziness was due to pulling a stomach muscle.
