  • CBS won’t allow multiple voting for Big Brother’s America’s Choice competition. I don’t care. I’m still voting thirty times for Kaysar after I’m done with this post. [Reality Blurred]
  • Bob Novak apologizes for cursing on the air. In the wake of his meltdown, CNN has suspended the surly reporter indefinitely. Geesh. Imagine what would happen if he did something crazy like out a CIA agent? Oh wait… [AP]
  • The Golden Globes move to Monday to avoid competition with Desperate Housewives. A risky move. You know how hard it is to pry viewers away from Still Standing. [E! Online via Yahoo]
  • Proving that he’s never too afraid to shill, Snoop Dogg is pairing up with the biggest Crip of all: Lee Iacocca. The two are currently appearing in Chrysler ads together to tout the company’s employee-pricing program. Apparently, Iacocca plans to pistol-whip us, dip us, then flip us with savings. [AP]
  • Desperate House-putas: Telemundo and Univision battle for novela dominance. [Washington Post]
  • Weekends at the DL premieres tonight on Comedy Central. [ed. note -- it premiered last weekend. Eh, you win some, you lose some] It’s got to be better than Mind of Mencia, right? [New York Times]

I voted for Kaysar about 5 times. I think that they will bring Eric back. I just have a bad feeling….and all of this talk about multiple votes not counting and possibly hurting your favorite person is just a way for them to cover their asses and bring back who THEY want.

Why would CBS actually WANT Eric back in the house?? The reason Kaysar is so good is because he knows how to play the game…he shakes things up. Eric is just a tool. By the way…thanks for getting me hooked on this damn show. I successfully made it thru all 5 previous seasons without watching, but now that I am hooked on TVgasm…I need my BB6 like a pot head needs cheesepuffs!

Because bringing Eric back makes the COOL side HILARIOUS. Gives them someone to ridicule mercilessly. But I so miss Kaysar. LOVED HIM!!!!!

Just like to say I noticed the work that went into renaming this section. I think Newsgasm is better than press box. kudos for the effort.

    Conspiracy theorists needed!

Went to the CBS Big Brother site and clicked the “Vote Now” tab.

Check out the Grand Prize Poll. Eric’s name is not grayed out, while all the other exicted houseguests are! If Eric comes back on Thursday, can you say sham?

And the voting dot is conveniently IN Erics spot. It has to be MOVED to either Kaysar or Michael. Anyone who hits it by accident gives a vote to Eric.

Why would cbs WANT to bring back eric? Then they’d have the possibility of having to shell out 1 million dollars if him and Maggie make it to the end, which couldn’t happen with Kaysar since mike’s gone for good.

    I have voted multiple times.

    Vote Kaysar>back button>vote Kaysar>back button…etc.

I do not have the problem of my voting dot being moved to Eric’s spot. I have heard that happens with some search engines, I use IE and have no problem. Firefox is the one I think, maybe Mozilla.

The CBS “out” disclaimer has been discussed over at the BB6 chat on CBS.com…..lot’s of people ready to call shenagans if Eric is back.

Easily a 98-2% spilt between Kaysar and Eric over on the chat…..and even some of that 2% is just people stiring up the conversation.

My IE blocked out the multiple vote option (whether the 2nd, 3rd, etc. would have went through anyway) after the first try.

I pulled up Netscape however, and had a fresh page with a fresh vote.

    Now time for Mozilla :)

    King Kayser rules!

I don’t have a problem when I vote multiple times on the web, but I only voted once by text for Kaysar b/c the price they charge is too steep!

Okay, here is where my ignorace for computers is shown. I know they can tell if you vote multiple times from the same computer, but if I say, voted from everyone in my office’s computer, could they tell they were all from the same location and disqualify them if they are only accepting one vote per person? Just trying to come up with ways to get as many votes as possible for Kaysar in there!!

When I looked at cbs.com, Eric’s name was grayed out in the place to vote for who will win. His picture is also grayed out just like the other evicted people’s.

If cbs.com’s own popularity poll is any indication, they will want Kaysar to return b/c he has by far a bigger rating than Eric, and they would want to bring back someone the majority of the viewers want to watch again. Also, tivojunkie made a good point–if cbs has a conspiracy to fix the vote, why would it be for someone who returns the possibility of them having to shell out double the prize money?
