Last week’s episode we were introduced to the 10 artists competing for $100,000 and the title of Ink Master. The Flash Challenge had the artists create a skull of their style on a dead pig and covering up a tattoo in the Elimination Challenge. Both focused on displaying raw talent and in the end B-TAT was sent home although Jeremy didn’t complete his tattoo.
Ok, I’m jealous of his stupid flowing hair.
This week’s episode deals with creating solid lines which can lay the foundation for a tattoo. The Flash Challenge had each artist creating lines on different types of cars to bring out the personality of the car. Heather is apparently riding the crimson wave because she starts an argument with Oliver on what the challenge actually is. Pretty bad idea to start a fight with the judge on what he is supposed to be judging you on.
The Elimination Challenge ties in with lines because the artists are to create tribal tattoos which immediately strikes fear in Jeremy who only really focuses on the new school style. In fact, he’s lost clients because he doesn’t have much, if any, tribal in his book. Bili’s client wants a head piece and if you couldn’t tell from the title of the episode, it doesn’t go as smooth as he would have liked.
The recap will be up soon and you’ll get to find out who went home, who stayed and how many toothpicks Oliver chewed on during the episode!

Good for Jeremy. Just ’cause every dood who thinks he’s the next porn star wants a tribal tat doesn’t mean you give him one.
