So, it’s May sweeps time, when all of our favorite shows are starting to wrap up for the summer. Because it sometimes takes a little while for us to crank out a recap, there is going to be a lot of pent up discussion about what happened. As a general rule, it is officially “safe” to post about an a television show in the comments when the TVgasm writer doing the show has posted about it. Anything else can be considered a spoiler, fair or not. That’s particularly tough for the peeps on the east coast who want to talk about what happened as soon as the program finishes. That’s why we’ve reinstated the TVgasm Forums.

There are forums for all of your favorite shows including Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, Amazing Race, and of course American Idol. I mention all of this now because the finale of Survivor begins soon and we should keep the main page free of spoilers while B-side works tirelessly on the recap.

And if you haven’t signed up, you’re missing out on learning about all of your other TVgasm posters as well as missing out on TVgasm happy hour meetings and other talk on shows we don’t cover in TVgasm including Top Chef and The Office. If that’s not enough, you can find out What EdHill keeps on his Tivo.

Now I know that I won’t have to ban anybody for spoilers, but if you are ever unsure, just use the forums and make sure to mark the thread as containing spoilers to avoid becoming as unloved on TVgasm as The OC is with the Neilsens.
