This reunion show was more or less everything I hoped it would be… sometimes more, sometimes less. Thankfully it was taped before Snooki’s pregnancy and engagement, so we actually got to spend time with all of the cast, even Sammi and Ronnie. These were the highlights:

After giving birth to her fourth child, SuburBint carefully weighed the options and decided that recapping reality TV was probably a better choice in the long run than alcoholism. Liver function tests have yet to confirm the wisdom of this decision. Being an honest-to-goodness recapper is also a dream come true, as she has aspired to do this ever since discovering that such a thing existed way back in 2002.

Her favorite shows of all time include Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Coupling, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy, Firefly, Community, Parks and Recreation, Doctor Who, and Veronica Mars. She can also quote The Big Lebowski in its entirety, and will do so with little to no provocation.

    I know everyone is over the JS cast and their antics, but I just can’t stop watching them. I will tune in for the next season. I think Pauly is funny, and the Pauly/Vinny bromance is cute to watch. I’m less warm and fuzzy about Mike. He wore on me during the Italy season, and I grew to hate him this season. The last straw was the scene when he walking around ranting while his weiner was peeking out of his pants. He stirs the pot too much, but more annoyingly, seems to be hyped up on drugs while stirring the pot.

    Looking forward to Pauly’s show to start.

    I feel like every time Mike was on could later be used for his intervention. Towards the beginning he was playing with his nose like the stereotypical coke head from movies.

    What was wrong with Sam’s hair? I couldn’t figure out what was going on. What was going on with Ron thinking he was a one man peanut gallery? And his laughing so quickly at his own ‘jokes’ when no one else was. The only good part was when Ron called out Snookie on how being so dramatic only made her look more guilty.

    Vinny was super quiet during this, I wonder if he is finally on meds for his “anxiety” (otherwise known as grown-as-boy-still-living-at-home-homesickness).

    Re: Ronnie — tears of a clown, baby! I think he was really nervous to be around Sammi and wasn’t sure how the news of their break-up was going to go over. At least, I sure hope that’s what it was, because if he is considering a career in stand-up….

    Carol– either its an extension mis-behavin’ or she was trying a new look of sorts– no idea why—she has pretty hair.

    Maybe I am nuts but I thought Deena looked very nice.
    And am not buying the JWow and Mike “talk” off-set. You cannot manipulate me MTV!!! I know Mike istrying to set up something for himself other than Celeb Re-hab.
    I wanted the Jionni is a bad boy-friend/He and Snooki have a f-ed up relationship to be addressed. We danced around that and I need answers now.

    Suburb– yes– Ronni was Mr Jokester and maybe it hit him too that he needs Sam to keep his JS persona going.

    Damn– Snooki’s pregnancy is really killing the show–lolololol

    Can’t wait to see the reunion on YouTube, rerun or MTV wbsite, even though it looks like you hit the highlights nicely. Loved your relationship pun!

    Poor Snitch. What will he do when th cameras turn off for good?

    Sammi’s hair bugged me too, and I think whatever she did to it was on purpose. Why she just pulled that one chunk of hair back is beyond me; maybe she had an accident with some heated styling implement and the only way to look half-way decent was to pull her hair back? I don’t know. Maybe she’s trying to start a new fashion trend.

    I thought Deena looked good too. That darker hair color really suits her. If only she’d stopped there!

    Somehow “it felt good to fall down and pee in the bushes” should never be spoken to anyone over the age of three.
