Khloe and Lamar: Athletes are People Too

This week, Malika dates an athlete, Robert gets jealous and Khloe and Lamar start a cologne. I’m so tempte to end the recap there but I’m paid by the lette. Let’ see if I can make it to 18.

Foreplay: Kardashian Style

Malika kicks things off by going into sick Robert’s room with Khloe, pouring candy on him and tickling him. Khloe is repulsed by this.

I didn’t think Kardashians had a gag reflex.

Lamar drops his the word of the day right on cue and announces that he needs more cologne. As a matter of fact, he just might start his own cologne line. To be rich and bored. When I run out of perume, I usually hit the corner until I  can afford a bottle of Avon’s Sweet Honesty but to each his own. Khloe and Lamar decide to look into starting a unisex fragrance line. Khloe is concerned that they may end up arguing and fighting like she does with her sisters/business partners but she proceeds anyway because a Kardashian turning down money is like a Whitney Houston turning down ________ (fill in the blank with any substance you can think of).

Lamar’s friend, and fellow NBA player, Rasual Butler is at the house and just as he’s leaving Malika shows up. Malika wants to be hooked up with him and Lamar agees to do so. The two of them go out on a few dates but this is weird to me. He has to be assuming that she just wants to score her own millionaire and mansion, right?

“Why didn’t you tell me he was going to be here? I would’ve dressed less Beetlejuicy!”

Khloe and Lamar test out colognes and Lamar doesn’t like any of them. Khloe jokingly tells him to use his words and then she tells him to be articulate in front of te executives. Lamar is not happy about that at all but the fireworks I was hoping for are doused by his laid back demeanor, boo!  He refuses to settle for something that he doesn’t like.

“I didn’t like that Khloe. I’m offended. This is how we get mad in Queens.”

The two couples are hanging out at the house and Malika leaves her millionaire  to go check on Robert who’s still sick. Everyone finds this strange but Khloe insists that they are not sleeping with each other. Rasual doesn’t look to sure or to happy.

“You sure she’s not doing him?”

The next day, Lamar comes home after practice and is eating dinner. For some reason,  Khloe thinks this is a good time  for him to smell samples. Yeah, cuz that’s what he wants to do as soon as he gets home from practice. Khloe is frustrated because she is the contact person and has to get yelled at by Keisha at the perfume company. Khloe doesn’t get aywhere with him and they are bth getting frustrated. Afterwards, Robert ad Lamar talk about Malika and Robert passive aggressively states that if she wants to date another athlete, that’s her problem. This is funny considering that two of his sisters have dated and/or married athletes. Furthermore, LAmar is an athlete. I’d be offended.

“I’m seething.”

The two couples end up going to dinner and Rob comes along because Malika doesn’t want him to feel left out of anything. At dinner, Malika teases Robert and says that he’ll never have a girlfriend. Rasual comes right out and asks if they have been involved and they deny it. It gets really awkward.

“Did someone fart?”

Later, Rasual calls Malika and breaks up with her because he didn’t like the relationship she had with Rob. Khloe tries to explain that Rob shouldn’t have been at dinner with them and explains that it’s one thing to flirt behind closed doors but another in front of other people. Rob apologizes to Malika for the breakup and offers his body as a sacrificial giving.

Khloe and Lamar meet with Keisha to fimalize the cologne and he hates the bottle top that Khloe chose. Khloe is furious, takes off and calls Kris. Kris, who has no heart to speak of, tells Khloe to take her emotions out of the equation because all married couples fight. Khloe and Lamar have a heart to heart and he explains that these arguments will hapen and they’re too strong to fall apart over it. Khloe gets home and she sees Malika’s car but Malika isn’t in her room. Yes, she has a room at the mansion. They go into Rob’s room and see the two of them in bed together. They assume that the two of them have had sex and Lamar whisper-cheers them on so as not to awaken the happy couple. Later, Khloe ties up Lamar and sprays herself in different scents so they can pick one that they both like. They come to an agreement and voila! 30 seconds later, they have the perfume launch at some club! And a Perfumania. Next week, Khadija, Malika’s twin, and her family are coming to visit and it’s gonna be a wild and crazy ride. Woo hoo (I guess)! See ya next week!
