BR tells us he thinks he has a chance, and really wants to win. Becky says she’s super excited and wants to win more than anything. Frank says he’d “better beat Becky.”
Well, Frank succeeds in beating Becky. Not in the physically harmful way that perhaps some of you would LIKE him to beat Becky, but he beats her nonetheless…
There haven’t been a lot of repeat mystery box winners, have there? Interesting.
So, Frank’s real advantage is…wait, they have to back up. The judges are so giddy they can’t tell us the story in order. They tell Frank that he won’t get to choose what people will be cooking. The theme is Japanese food. There’s a *stunning* sushi platter. Right, NOW for the advantage. Immunity. But wait, there’s bigger news!!!
Frank comes out, and Becky is bummed because thus far I’m pretty sure hers was the only mystery box challenge where the winner didn’t get immunity. Oh, wait, so was Felix’s win. Regardless, I think she has a fair gripe.
Speaking of fair gripes, the challenge is to exactly replicate this sushi platter…
Becky laughs out loud, but not out of joy. It sounded more like a laugh to cover up the sound of her shitting her pants.
Oh…my…goodness. The bigger twist that Gordie alluded to. It’s a tag team challenge! And Frankie got to pick the teams!! Good grief. This must be a make-up call for the teams getting flopped on Frankie last week, because at this stage in the game, holy shit this advantage is a bit…how do you say?…ah, yes. Excessive.
So, I’m betting he sticks BR with Becky. Felix with Stace-aholic, and DareDevil with WH. That’s what I’d do. BR will likely hulk smash Beckster with his big ham-fists, WH will set DareDevil on fire, and, well, I think Felix has a good shot at winning this round, so you may as well stick someone you’re not afraid of on her team…
Well, the first team is…Becky, and?
I wouldn’t be surprised if Frankie wakes up with a severed (Beautiful) Rhinoceros head in his bed. Frank tells us that Becky is his biggest competition, and BR is a disaster, so he thinks this could be her undoing.
So, here’s my confusion. They haven’t told us HOW they’ll decide which member of the losing team is going home. For all we know, it could be as simple as “David shit in the corner and set the sushi on fire, he’s done,” in which case, the smarter thing to do would be to pair the two MIDDLE contestants up and hope that their dish is the worst. But that’s just me overthinking.
