   The girls went to Vegas (Jen, Ev, and Suzie) and apparently Evelyn hooked up with someone. This was all off camera. But as the ladies are friendly with Al Reynolds, Suzie spilled the beans about Ev’s hookup, although not maliciously, kinda like, “yea, Ev was getting her freak on.” Again it was off camera. But what we saw was Big Gay Al telling Evelyn that Suzie was spreading her business to people and Evelyn ostracized Suzie for the whole season, no matter how much Suzie groveled.

   That Meeka is greasy. Doesn’t she carry some Mac Studio Fix in that Chanel purse? Blot, bitch, blot!

   Sarcas – LOL!! Meeka has got Jermaine Jackson syndrome – greasy 24-7 and you would have to throw sand on her to grab her.
   I don’t know about the Jennifer pix, Sarcas is on the money about the Evelyn ho-ing it up in Vegas. Of course Al had to spill the tea in the great tradition of gossipy queens, since what Suzie said was not said maliciously. Why that heiffa thinks that her reputation is anything but as a baller hooch is beyond me – you drop Amex black card, Evelyn is dropping the draws.You bounce a ball, she bouncing on top of you. Please, bitch…

   I am in LOVE love love with Tammi.
   Shaunie…ugh! She totally spilled the dirt to Tammi.

   @LAC, I’m cracking up over here at having to throw sand on someone to grab them! Maybe Meeka is scared of Miami mosquitos and is walking around doused in Skin So Soft.

   @Sheesh, I agree. Meeka is pretty. Pretty greasy! LOL..why does Jennifer always looks so calm, cool, and shine-free? I think it’s possibly to control the shine. Personally, I like a bit of dewiness on the skin but Meeka shines brighter than her gold plated earrings. Who knows. Maybe after watching last season, Meeka decided she could only interact with Tami while wearing a face full of vaseline.

   I don’t like Shaunie. The 1st season she seemed above it all, stayed out of the drama, but last season she looked so petty taunting Gloria about postponing her marriage. Like Gloria was a failure because she didn’t marry her baller. Like Gloria said, “You got married Shaunie and what good did it do you?” Eggsactly. Shaunie married Shaq, had 5 kids, and got cheated on left and right. Even Superhead (Karinne Steffans) put Shaq in her book as one of her regular lovers. The book that was published while Shaq and Shaunie were still married! She evn pointed out how Shaq wasn’t “big” at all and how even the most mundane sex left the entire bed drenched in his sweat. Ew. Could you imagine? Sorry, Shaunie..no one’s jealous of that.

   I hope someone puts Shaunie in her place but as she is exec-producer, it’s unlikely. Gloria called her out a few times and then got booted from the show. Tami’s not gonna mess with her meal ticket. Not with food stamps so fresh in her mind.

   Speaking of which, Plath..don’t know if anyone told you about how Tami almost beat up Jen last season, too. Shaunie had prepped Evelyn and Jen about Tami coming to town, telling them how Kenny Anderson cheated on her during their marriage (sidenote: And got Spinderella, of Salt and Pepe fame, pregnant) and when Tami left he left her penniless and she had to go on welfare to raise her daughters.
   Well, a little while later, Tami joined them for dinner; their first meeting. Tami is being very cordial when Jen just blurts out, “I’ve never seen a food stamp.” Damn!
   Tami brushed it off then, it was their first meeting..but at another function she got drunk and went after Jen (with shoes off like Drita!). Jen was ducking behind Ev and Shaunie, apologizing, in a bragadocious sort of way. “My dad drove me to middle school in a Porsche. I grew up middle class. Why are you so mad that I’ve never seen a food stamp?!” I normally like Jen but I saw what she was doing in trying to make Tami feel inferior from the start. That was cold.

   Someone is always hating on the new girl. Only this time, Meeka deserves it.

   Jen factors Royce into the whole naked pic fiasco b/c Royce told various people that she believes Jen leaked the pics herself. On the reunion episode, Royce even says to Jen’s face that she didn’t reach out to her after the pics leaked b/c she believed she leaked them herself. I don’t know how Royce would think Jen would remain friends after she said that (even if she did leak them herself, geesh girl you are her friend)

   Wow. I didn’t know about any naked pics of Jen. I remember Evelyn had some naked pics leaked (no surprise there) but Jen comes across so…wholesome. Missionary in the dark, wholesome. I couldn’t imagine her letting anyone photograph her naked, much less emailing her pics to people, even her husband.

   @ Sarcasatire, Shaunie had 5 children with Shaq and was a wife, so she is paid for life. I guess in the hierarchy of athletic ho-ing, being an ex-wife is worthier than being a baby mama. The only reason that Glo was attacked had to do with her not putting up with the bullshit with the Jen/Evelyn/Shaunie clique.

   I certainly don’t read Jen as wholesome, but I do get a whole victim vibe from her. Like Eric explained last season, he cheated and he did his dirt, but after she accepted it and was prepared to move forward, she should have just done that! I don’t condone cheating, but I do not condone pretending to forgive someone in an effort to rake them over the coals for their mistakes.

   Evelyn only forgave Suzie because the bigger drama is with Tami this season. I agree with Royce that Suzie is going to get burnt by trying to be friends or whatever with Jen/Evelyn/Shaunie, but it would be her own fault.

   All in all, these bitches just need to leave Twitter alone.

   @Derek, you’re right. Wholesome is a bad word. But Jen comes off as a bit prudish and even a bit asexual..I don’t really see her emailing nude photos of herself for them to be leaked. Now Evelyn? I’m sure half of the NBA, NFL, and NHL has seen her tatas. I think Jen is one of the most beautiful and statuesque but I don’t get a nude pic taking vibe from her so it’s just weird to me.
   News Flash: I just googled the pics..she is naked(!) and looks gorgeous…but asexual. Like someone who wants to be desired but not actually touched.

   Yes, Shaunie is set financially. Or maybe she’s living off of child support and Shaq has an iron clad prenup. Her kids are pretty young so she’ll be getting a check for years, regardless. But she still had a man openly cheating on her, and didn’t even try to deny it when it came out in a book that their children may even read someday. And she stayed with him! No way she can look down on anyone else or walk around like the queen bee. Yes, the show was her idea but why not stay behind the cameras and preserve a little dignity? If I were exec-producer, I’d make those bitches dance like marionettes but there’s no way I would jump into the fray myself!

There is some info about the $500k judgement he won against Royce for violating a gag order, and how he is actually trying to collect!

   Dwight is a well known Bible thumper and is trying to not let Royce tarnish his image and endorsements by flaunting their out-of-wedlock child, that’s all there is to it. And Eric Williams keeps missing his court appointed DNA tests to further delay the child support order.

    PlathAddict – you really have to go to VH-1 and watch the previous seasons. Us telling you about it doesn’t do it any justice. The set-ups, the back-stabbing, the drink throwing. The evaluation of Royce, ride-or-die, the spreading of the hips, the Evil Twins. You’re missing out big time. What I can’t figure out is why Royce hates Evelyn? It seems to have started at the last reunion. Oh, and Shaunie is totally a shit stirrer!!

    @featherhead, I know. I know. I just haven’t had time – plus, I have no idea where to start. Would you recommend I start with Season 1 or just skip straight ahead to 2? I don’t want to waste time on a season that has nothing to do with what I’m currently recapping, but at the same time, I don’t want to miss something that might be important in understanding the motivations. Also, the fact that I want to understand their motivations scares me more than a little bit.

    @Plath, I think you have to start from the beginning so you can see how the girls started out hating Royce, then learned to like her. Also the beginning of season two won’t make sense b/c you’ll have missed how the Gloria and Shaunie drama began.

    I believe Royce’s dislike for Evelyn comes from the fashion show that Jennifer and Ev backed out on at the last minute. And also Evelyn was saying during the season that Royce’s boyfriend was only with her b/c of the publicity.

    I agree with classy drunk, you have to start at the beginning to get all the back stories. Season 1, Suzie was no push-over, she was slinging drinks all over the place, even at the reunion, Royce was this little quiet mouse, and then watch-out! Plathaddict, you’ll thank us later!

    Plath, no Evelyn was never married. Whenever it gets pointed out to her, she screams, “But I was a fiance!” She was with Antoine Walker for 10 years, never got married or had any kids, so maybe she isn’t as smart as we thought. A good jump off would’ve managed to get knocked up in that time, just to be set for the next 18 years. Then again, maybe she’s smarter than I thought because Antoine is now broke, so he wouldn’t be the best man to suck $30,000 a month in child support from.
    You dodged a bullet, Evelyn. A sperm bullet.

    Plath, although it disappoints me to hear that you have a life outside of TVgasm and cannot dedicate all of your time to this show, I won’t forsake you in anyway. If you haven’t the time to get caught up on certain backstories or conflict, just ask and we’ll bring you up to speed. Yes, there were some great moments in the last two seasons, but plenty of dull episodes, too. And I find a great moment can be summed up in a paragraph. Having to slog through over 24 hours of past episodes just seems way daunting. So, no worries…by the time this shit show is over, you’ll know more than you ever wanted to about these broads.

    (If possible, just check out the reunion shows. They highlight all the drama and conflicts from each season better than any of my long winded paragraphs. And they come with video!)

    @sarcasatire, you ROCK! I appreciate your understanding that my time is somewhat limited – Cheetos are awesome but they don’t pay the bills! And since my man isn’t a “baller,” I have to do what I must. I will start with the reunions and see if they can point me to the more interesting episodes. But, it’s good to know you have my back when it comes to questions about these hookahs!

    Shaq may have a prenup, but if the man does not need to cash his NBA checks due to endorsements, Shaunie needs to collect…he’s retired now so she needs to move fast!

    Though Dwight is a bible thumper, its ironic how he got someone ELSE preggo…oh such is the NBA life

    Evelyn has a kid who is about 19, there are pics online…but apparently it was pre-baller ho years: so I dunno what she was doing in those ten years she was with Antoine…maybe she’s smarter than we thought

    @ Dazzy, Ev’s daughter was on the show last season, when she brought her prom date/boyfriend to meet Ev. I believe they were going to move in together when they went to college and were seeking Ev’s slutty approval.
