After two consecutive weeks of complete awesomeness, this week was a breather episode. They’re clearly winding down the season and tying up loose ends before leading into resolution.
First loose end, Janet. Dr. Handsome’s girlfriend and the woman Sally drove around the bend when she was possessing her so she could bone Dr. Handsome. Sally’s still being haunted by ReaperScott, who’s become less sinister and more naggy since last week. He keeps asking her to talk to him while all she wants to do is watch Paranormal Witness. When Sally hears that Janet’s been admitted to the psych ward she thinks that if she can help Janet she can rid herself of ReaperScott. I’m sure this will end well, all of Sally’s schemes do.
Meanwhile, Nora’s back and Josh is torn between two lovers. And feeling like a fool. He even tries to talk about it with Aidan. Aidan isn’t really paying attention and gives Josh advice that sounds more like he’s talking about him and Henry but Josh decides that what he really needs to do is have Aidan and Julia sit down for dinner so she won’t hate him anymore and Josh can start moving on with her. I’m sure this will end well because Aidan would never do anything as stupid as bring Suren around. But that’s all prologue because Nora’s back and wants to make everything up to Josh. Who’s kind of not really interested in making up with Nora what with Julia and everything. When did Josh become the hot stud of Being Human? Oh, and Nora drops the bombshell that she knows how Josh can be rid of his curse.
Speaking of torn between two lovers, Aidan’s remembered he’s supposedly in love with Suren like he’s never been in love before, except for maybe his wife when he was alive, and don’t forget Henry and there was Celine, too, but no. Suren is the bestest, purest love Aidan has known. Which is why it’s a bummer when Mother decides to play a bait and switch on them all and tells Suren she’s stuck in Boston and Aidan’s banished from the vampire world. Aidan decides that he didn’t learn one damn thing about trying to get Rebecca to go clean last season and asks Suren to run away with him. I’m sure this time will be better, though, because it’s not like Suren’s crazy and impulsive or anything.
In a twist, no one ends up ruined at the end of the episode. A couple even seem to get some closure. So I’m sure that just means shit will blow up twice as hard next week.

Love this show. Can’t wait for the recap.
Is the werewolf guy ALWAYS that doofy-lookin’, or does every screen grab just make him look that way?
Not always, but enough to get enough screencaps to fill a recap. But that’s what happens when your face is made of Silly Putty.
Josh has a Jimmy Stewart-esque quality.
