MiniCap: Being Human

No more skirting the issue and referring to it in metaphor, this week Aidan’s voice over informs us that they’re going straight into the addiction parallels. Because they were too subtle before?

Starting with Aidan’s. He’s completely off the wagon and banging Suren. This doesn’t sit well with Mother, who stops in to have some crazy time with her baby girl.  Her nearly 800-year-old baby girl.  They’ve been at this crap for almost 700 years?  Cut the strings, gurr.  No wonder Suren’s such a loon.  Anyway,  all this brings on more flashbacks to 1930 and explains what happened with Suren. And Henry. And Suren and Henry. And why Suren wants to kill Mother. (Not a spoiler just, duh.) Then Aidan goes back to Sapp & Sons to cull some orphans and sees two ghosts (metaphoric, not the Sally kind) from his past, one real and one an hallucination. A big, sinister, blond hallucination that I miss terribly.

Josh, on the other hand, is getting his geek on with the twins to the consternation of Nora. She wants nothing to do with them and thinks they’re just using Josh. Connor proves that he’s good for something when he sniffs out (sorry) that maybe Nora actually likes being the wolf. Which just happens to coincide with her stalking her abusive ex. Josh thinks he has to protect her because he’s Josh, but we learn that Nora’s pretty good at protecting herself with a little help from the creepy twins.

And Sally. Sweet, self-absorbed, “leap before you look,” Sally. She’s crushing so hard on Dr. Handsome that she’s taken to possessing his girlfriend Janet while they have sex. And they have sex a lot. But Sally’s still Sally and can’t just leave when she’s done she has to get all smurfy and sentimental and confess things that never actually happened to Janet and lie around in bed with him which leads to some really bad consequences, and not just for Sally.

In between all this story development everyone but Josh and Nora, and maybe the twins because ew, and yet, creepy, had a lot of sex while SyFy looked to see just how graphic they can be and how much boob and Aidan ass they could expose without getting slapped with an indecency fine.
