Things are heating up for all the roommates. Nora’s back and voicing over about how we all fall into two categories, predator or prey and the decision all the roommates, except Sally, will be dealing with is which category they fall into.
It’s pretty obvious which option Nora chose. Even though she spent the better part of her human “cycle” down at the Cape shitfaced and depressed. But she’s back in Boston and looks like she wants to reconnect with Josh, especially after he says all he wants to do is protect her. Because behind all the willowy, blonde prettiness, Nora doesn’t have best judgment which has left her a lonely mess for a while. In the end, though, we really understand why.
Josh, by the way, isn’t too far ahead of her in the good judgment department. He does several really dumb things for good reasons but puts himself, Nora and Aidan at risk. He feels guilty about it all, which I’m sure comes as a surprise. But he does step up and does the right thing in the end, which only makes me sadder for him. Why does the right thing always have to kick Josh in the ass?
Bishop’s no longer haunting Aidan, which is never a good thing, but clearly he left a little bit of himself behind in Aidan. Because high, whiny, emo Aidan doesn’t make an appearance at all this week. Pissed off, out of his depth, “just get what needs to be done done,” good friend and big daddy Aidan’s back. He takes matters into his own hands when everyone leaves him, either by choice or circumstance, and I did not see that ending coming. Even when I rewound it to make sure I saw it, it still surprised me. He really is Bishop’s progeny, if he can just keep his head out of his own ass and stop whining long enough to embrace it.
Finally, we find out what’s been chasing Sally. First we’re led to believe it’s something else because she gets visited by an “old friend” but the MO is different from the reaper. Until the reaper materializes, so to speak, and he’s the ghost of bad mid-90s hair. He’s also kind of Dog the Bounty Hunter for the afterlife only younger, hotter and not nearly as creepy. And I am including the fact that he’s a bounty hunting ghost in that assessment.
It was a fast-paced but really sad episode. They’ve pretty much abandoned following the UK template at this point and I’m glad because at this point the UK series began to suck.

I cheered when Aidan killed the douchey were-brother.
