About

Vallegirl has never actually lived in a valley, has a lot of time on her hands and likes to yell at kids about how things were in her day.  Currently in LA, she's also spent a lot of time in the great states of  New York and Florida so she's not crazy, it's just a cultural thing.

Ahhhhh—good to see part of NJ is storm-free!!!!!!
Thanks for the mini-cap Vallegirl. I am sooo behind on watching and commenting–I seem to be catching the show late. I do read the recaps first tho. Its frustrating b/c this is such a great, muti-textured show that I need to watch it twice to get what I missed prior.

I hope Marge and Owen get caught–I think he needs to go. There is something creepy about him.

I think “Nelson behaves very inappropriately at work” may just be the understatement of the year.

In a perfect world, every day would be St Bork Bork’s Day.
    These are great, thank you

Thanks for the pic of Jack H. Yum.

Didn’t think Gyp would take it there. Loved when his sidekick told Gillian his daughters were as beautiful as his wife. Ha!

hot cawfee – I have no idea what’s going on with Margaret and Owen or why the writers thought this was the best path to put her on. Owen was much more interesting to me last season but this time around he’s just kind of an appendage. And take that in every way you want because he fits each bill.

Carly – Thanks! That’s what I was aiming for because that scene was both completely expected and still so far over the top that I thought “Well, it has to be in the minicap but how do you describe it without taking away its thunder?” “very inappropriately” seemed the best option.

Waffleboy – Let’s petition our respective states to at least make it a national holiday. The Swedish Chef (I know, Sigrid’s Norwegian) could be its mascot.

And plockeness, you’re welcome. I try to separate out my “Damn, Jack Huston’s so handsome” reaction to every photo I’ve ever seen of him out of character, with the smurfiness I generally feel whenever Richard’s on screen and the fact that he’s a stone cold killer, but….look. So pretty.

Gyp is Gyp and I think he rivals Nelson on being the most unpredictably unhinged character on the show. Who knows where either one is ever going.
