Minicap: Brooklyn 11223

This should help me through the next two episodes

This week we take the girls (plus Matt) out of Bay Ridge, but we can’t take the Bay Ridge out of the girls (plus Matt). Christie and her crew head to sin city for Labor Day weekend, while Joey Lynn goes to Miami with her peeps.

Christie and Matt are staying in a separate hotel room so Christie can miserable in peace while the rest of the girls drink $350 worth of liquor in one night. In Miami, Joey Lynn is disappointed that her friends are so lame for not wanting to stay up boozing until 6 am.

We meet two new Random Brunettes: Carla’s friend Denise who tries to help Carla get over her recent breakup with the love of her life by making her have drinks with a cute EMT; and Toni Lynn, who is, we learn, the only girl in Brooklyn who has remained friends with Carla, Christie…and Joey Lynn! Where has she been this whole time? She goes to VEGAS! with Christie’s crew, but then we never see her again.

Christie and Big Ang make up after their feud over who-knows-what last week, mainly because they don’t want to ruin the VEGAS! trip.

Joey Lynn attempts to confront Nick about standing her up, but he tries to turn it around it on her and is generally slimy about it, but not in an interesting way. The boys are forlorn since the girls are all away and can’t randomly drop in on them at the auto glass shop.

So yeah, despite the fact that they go to VEGAS! and Miami, nothing much happens. The good news is, we’re over the hump with only two more episodes to go. Is there enough booze in the world to get me through the next two weeks?

I’ll have the full ‘cap up in a couple days (I know, you will be counting down the seconds), but until then, you can re-read last week’s recap here.

Thanks for reading and have a great day!

xoxo,

With every episode I am loving this show more. I understand Joey Lynn’s desire to party in Miami and being left alone at 4:30am. Been there, done that. Loved the Vegas trip too. Very scattered editing though. I guess expenses were spared because the footage is whacked.

I can relate to these folks. I would like to be able to sit and watch any of these reality shows with the cast to see their reaction. See what was cut and how it was cut to manipulate the audience.

Thanks for hanging in there SnoopK8.

Ha, I agree, labowner. I would totally want to hang with these girls if I were in my 20s. The Vegas trip looked like a shitshow (because I am old now), but back in the day, I would’ve been all over it. I also agree that it sucks when you want to party and all your friends are being lame and going to bed early.

I’m so glad that someone else is watching this!

I didn’t think it was possible for Christie to make Vegas seem dull but congratulations, Christie! This girl should join a convent really. Her insecurity is palpable and she has a permanent scowl on her face. Someone needs to insert that scowl all over the world: Eiffel Tower, Disney World, the Grand Canyon. It would really make a fantastic meme. I’m truly perplexed as to how she would have even had the energy to go to Vegas. She just seems so jaundiced. They really need to hire her for government intelligence to torture people with her grating, high-pitched bitching.
