I’m kind of a bitch!

Wow, Gasmii, that was kind of an intense episode. At first I couldn’t decide if I liked Lesley* because she called Christi out and spoke her mind or if I thought she was just kind of an asshole. By the end of the hour I was leaning towards the latter.

Previously: Maddie and Chloe go head-to-head and Chloe wins; Crazy Cathy faced her “nemis” Abby Lee; Brooke tried out for cheerleading; Cathy called Christi “Disco Ball.”

Abby congratulates the girls on another win, but of course has some critiques for them.

This week they will be going to Hollywood Vibe, where there will be judges from California and New York who are looking for “the next big thing.”

Pyramid time: The last picture remains covered for dramatic effect, but I think we’re supposed to think it’s Brooke (at least I did). Paige is next, then Nia. Kendall is still on probation. Jill is still pissed. Second row: Mackenzie! MADDIE’S in the second row again and Chloe is on top! Jabby announces this like she would announce that she just found out she has terminal cancer.

This week: Chloe and Maddie will do solos. Chloe, Maddie and KENDALL will also do a trio. Jabby says this is to see if Kendall can hang with Chloe and Maddie. Kelly says this is BS because Paige has always been in the trios with Maddie and Chloe in the past.

The group number will be about bullying because bullying is the new teen suicide (don’t do it!). Jabby picks Nia to be the bully and Holly is none too happy about this.

The last square is revealed and it’s not Brooke, but Peyton, the girl whose mom went nuts on Abby during the audition episode. Peyton will be joining the group, at least for this week. Jill is not happy because she’s afraid Peyton will take Kendall’s spot.

Holly thinks about it and decides she doesn’t want Nia to be the bully even though it’s a featured role, so Jabby takes it away from her and makes Peyton the bully.

The girls visit Brooke  in exile. Lesley and Jill argue. Lesley screams at Christi. (Actually, Lesley screams at almost everyone.)

The costumes are unveiled and Christi dubs them “Prostitots the Sequel.”

They go to St. Louis for the competition and there is much yelling and nobody wins except Maddie. Peyton says she thought she danced better than anyone, causing Jabby to go apeshit.

Next week: There is a “shocking” top of the pyramid; Brooke apparently wants to come back; Jill wants Kendall to get bigger parts and Jabby is sick of the bickering.

*okay – I didn’t catch the correct spelling of Lesley’s name, so I will make sure to have it right for the regular ‘cap!

    My prediction for the pyramid will be nobody at the top since they left empty-handed, or that Maddie will be at the top since she won, but there will be one less space on the pyramid than people on the team (meaning someone will be kicked out.)

    I always find it interesting what age they show when they do the results since alot of times maddie is not going against chloe for the overall high score. Here are the results from that Hollywood Vibe competition from Abby’s website. They seem to go to that competition alot, same with starbound.

    Did anyone else crap up at Squeaky Lee last night? I had a full belly laugh the second time she appeared. There is no reason that GIGANTIC child should be part of the group, wasn’t she taller than some of the moms?

    On the Lifetime message boards people posted that the group number actually did win something as did Chloe. She got her first in her age division – I think it was a different one than Maddie. Gosh, I hope Brooke comes back. Lesley is a pill. Peyton is a good dancer, but is ridiculously tall. Also, her mouth is always hanging open which really annoys me. Jill also annoys me.

    Your caption says “kind of a bitch”. Ummm…. kind of?? What a psycho. I don’t often agree with Christi, but I was glad when she said it was between she and her daughter why they stay there. And yes, Peyton looks RIDIC in that group. It’s a group of 7-10 yr olds and she’s 14!! Imo, Brooke looked too old for that group too, but Peyton looks 10 times worse. I’m sure we’ll just see her for a few weeks for the excitement her lunatic mother will bring.

    @no cars go – I was just going to say that I thought it was Jabby’s sister. I haven’t seen the episode yet so I won’t comment on her disposition yet. But if she looks like Jabby I’m going to assume she’s off her rocker like Jabby.

    I was absolutely disgusted when Jabby told Chloe “she destroys you” (meaning christie). I just can’t wrap my head around how cruel that is to say to a 10 year old!

    What is with the moms making props, gluing and sewing stuff?? you would think as much money as it cost to go to the dance school that they wouldnt have to do that.

    @SuburBint- Phlegmy Lee is a BIG FUN t-shirt away from being Martha Dumptruck. ;)

    I am not giving up hope that the surprise at the top of the pyramid will be a prescription for antibiotics. We have clearly moved out of Sudafed territory, that is an infection. Her crackle cackle is FOUL.

    Thought you’d like to hear that this morning Melissa called into the local radio show to defend the Dance Moms.
    Apparently, Katherine Heigl thinks these moms are batshit, and she ain’t afraid to blog all about it.
    Melissa said the kids are having a blast, the moms love eachother and frequently sing kumbya together, and Jabby loves the kids is snot always a bitch. I guess this happiness only exists when the cameras are off. Must be the editing. Then Melissa asserted that Katherine Heigl dissed them because she doesn’t have talented kids. Lol.

    The interviews are probably on the station website. (96.1 Kiss Morning Freakshow-Mikey and Big Bob). If you go there, Big Bob dressed as Jabby for Halloween this year, awesome!

    And wow on that Abby interview. When doing the word assosiation thing she said “Christie” for “failure”. I need to know more of the back story between them. I mean I know it was mentioned that Christie danced for Abby when she was younger and then gave it up for boyfriends/marraige/ect., but what else is there that went on? Now I’m too damn curious.

    Okay finally got to watch the episode. I wish they would have shown more of the Bully dance. It was really hard to judge how good it was from what they showed.

    I think Chloe was flawless from what I saw so not sure why she didn’t win anything. I think they might have flubbed the results like this show is known to do.
    I am so sick of Abby berating Chloe. She is a beautiful sweet little girl and Abby says she is “Cocky”. Whatever.

    Hey, I was mostly stopping by to see if the full recap was up, but would like to put in a request to TVGasm to please add Dance Moms to the “Hot Shows” list on the sidebar of the homepage and under recaps, etc. It would make it so much easier to find! I like how Toddlers and Tiaras has it’s own subsection (you can go to a main webpage for all of it) and with this show did too. Thanks!

    Hi Sarah, same one from the T&T recap, I presume? I think that more shows should be on the “Hot Shows” list. I’m lazy and get whiney when have to click on all shows and then have to scroll down. Maybe the Moviegasm space could be used since it doesn’t change for months.
