   What is ok about a 14 yo wearing a lace bra as a shirt + false lashes on tv? Brooke is too pretty and too talented to go around looking that trashy!

   This is the full dance for the duet.. Paige is doing a lot more dancing than Nia. Wonder whether that’s because abby prefers her style/thinks she’s better or because of Nia’s foot…

   I also noticed one of the little boys from Cathy’s Apple Cores team, Gino maybe. I think he got third top solo. Was the 2nd place top solo Lucas? I thought that boy looked familiar too.

   I thought the whole Christi and Kelly drama was stupid and fake. She said she called her. She did at least call once that Christi knew of. Everyone told Christi Kelly called her because they saw her try to and heard her talking about trying to call her and asking about if they heard from her. So Christi should have just accepted that and moved on.

   Oh next week….BB dies and Abby loses it. It seems they are going back to the old ploys like them jumping on Melissa for kissing up to Abby or Kelly saying Abby is setting her girls up to fail. Boring. Been there, done that. The not using Chloe’s name during practice was just horrible. I am assuming the girls are being told it is fake, but still.

   I really liked the group dance and honestly I thought the using real money idea was genius! I would have given them a costume award. Very innovative.

   So looks like next week they get kicked out of a comp after a big fight with Black Patsy? I actually heard some women on the dancemoms board talking about it. They said they were at that comp and that they are banned forever from it or something like that. I am actually glad a comp stood up to them and banned that shit for once. It is so inappropriate. We were expected to be on our best behavior at comps, parents and kids.

   I thought the duet was fun and cute. I thought Brooke looked lovely and it really is a shame she does not want to dance anymore. Such talent would go to waste. Many dancers would give their right arm to have her talent. But, I want her to be happy so I hope she can find something that will make her happy.

   April, they have gotten banned from competitions before this. The most prominent one was Starquest where they banned them for lying about the results too much when they aired it. They said that they were also told the show was about the girls, not their crazy mothers. They also got banned from thunderstuck, also for being lied to about what the show was about. I guess they didn’t appreciate how their competition looked in that episode.

   In the episode when they were attaching money to their dresses Holly said she works hard for her money, but she doesn’t have a job anymore besides the show and I don’t know if she’s getting paid. If she is, I wouldn’t really call it working hard but whatever. I thought the duet was adorable. I really liked it though I don’t think they showed it right on the show so you’d get what was occurring. When I saw the full duet, i got the meaning and why it was musical theater.

   I am stills saying Christi is pregnant. Did you see that dress she had on? It looked like a maternity dress. She is not fatter anywhere else….. She looks more tired and snippy. I bet they are just waiting to work it into a story line

   There are some more spoilers on that dance mom board. Apparently they compete against Candy Apples again and lose group , duet and Brooke loses her solo to one of Cathy’s boys. So yeah, Abby is going to shit that episode.

    Agreed – this episode was dull. I did not like Abby’s treatment of Chloe at all. Calling her ‘blond girl’ was just wrong. Didn’t Chloe win the Ballet Scholarship? She deserves more respect than that. I can’t wait for one of hte girls to go off on Abby. Now that would be a show.

    I thought this was a better episode. It was nice to see Abby giving PRAISE to the girls. Nia even got a hug from Abby. Now if only she could’ve given Chloe some respect…. But we’ve taken a step forward from the last few weeks.

    I was at Showstopper in Anaheim this past weekend and my student was perusing the program and found Sophia Lucia doing two solos…one lyrical/contemporary and one open. Assuming it was with her real studio, San Diego Dance Centre and not with Abby. Sad that we were there Saturday and she was performing on Sunday, but I’m sure I will catch her at Anaheim May Showstopper, since everyone and their mother does that competition.

    Yea, I thought Abby was relatively tame this episode (besides the chloe thing, but we’re taking baby steps here) since the two moms who always yells at her stepped back and let her teach since they were too busy being mad at eachother rather than at Abby (except again Christi going after Abby for not calling Chloe by her name which is justified but like I said, baby steps)

    This show is just getting depressing. It used to be fun to watch, when it was more about the kids, but now? I feel dirty after I watch it. The way Abby treats the kids is horrible, the pressure and name-calling and favoritism and criticism of their parents and and and… I cringe inside when she starts. And the moms!! I am sure my daughter would be humiliated if I were on national tv, screaming and cursing for all the world to see. It really doesn’t even seem like many of the kids enjoy dancing as much as they used to. I can only imagine what they have to put up with at school after some of these episodes air. My older daughter loves to dance, and is in a competition team for the first time this year, and I’ll probably keep watching the show with her, but some parts of it really make me sick where pills don’t reach.

    (rant over) Does anyone else question Melissa’s motives in trying to be the go-between with Christi and Kelly?

    Also, @April – can you link the dance mom forum? It sounds interesting.
