   Good god, was this episode ever a snoozer. Although I did love Cathy’s line about “I’m not the one who fell from the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down”. See, she’s good for something…sometimes…other than that, I barely paid attention.

   A few thoughts:
   Jalen or Jaden or whoever he is is a cute little talented guy, but his father is a giant dick and reminds me of Jon Gosselin.
   Holly looks beautiful on her own and does not need Abby’s help!
   Whenever Abby interviews and takes a breath you can see her uvula and tonsils.she has the hugest mouth. It’s so weird!
   I hated Paige and Chloe’s coshtumes, they were so inappropriate. It made me sad.
   Kelly really DOES say that Abby sets her girls “up for failure” every week! Hah!

   So how bad are the other teams that you can still win 1st place when one of your dancers forgets her choreography and basically just stands on stage for 20 seconds and then runs around like a beheaded chicken for the final 20 seconds…..

   You had me at that first picture and caption. OMFG!

   Just finished watching it. Lifetime put it up later than they normally do today for some reason. It is normally up in the morning but it did not come up till after lunch. I was sitting on pins and needles and being pissed because I wanted my dance moms earlier!

   I liked all the dances but Cathy is nothing but a character at this point. She does not do anything. Not her dancers, not her choreography, not her teaching. Good lord.
   This episode was mild compared to the others on the crazy level.

   DId you see how nuts Cathy went when someone said your kid doesn’t even dance as she was insulting Kendall…HA! STFU Cathy…you buy your dancers…you can’t choreograph at all…..I hate her almost as much as Vivi does.

   Omg I loved this episode. In my opinion, Christi was on fire with her hilarious comments. Also I loved how ridiculous Jill was when she was trying to get Kendall to be Rosa Parks. Like really? I can’t believe she didn’t see that Nia clearly was getting the part.

   The costumes in the group dance did not suit any of the girls since I feel they have to be curvier to pull it off. In the freeze frame on the Dance Moms site for the video before the video was unlocked, Brooke, in my opinion looked like a guy. But hey. Now everyone on the team (except for Kendall?) has forgotten a routine or part of one. Welcome to the club Brooke. It wasn’t even that bad. I didn’t even notice until after they did the routine and they showed it close up so I doubt the judges noticed since they didn’t know the routine. For all they know she was supposed to do it since she didn’t freeze like some of the other girls did when they forgot the routine.

   We watched it last night and the first time they show the end of the routine Brooke does a front walkover to the back and then stands there in front of Nia and the music stops. When they show a “replay” Brooke is running around clueless. Like I said last week, Lifetime is really slacking on their editing jobs…did she forget the routine or not?
   I thought this week was Nia, Paige, and Chloe’s week. They all looked amazing, I think the duet was the most synchronized those kids have ever been….

   This episode Vivi reminded me of one of the “heathens” from an old documentary, who have never seen a camera before- you know, the ones who stand around, dead-eyed, worried that the shiny black boxes that the weird people are pointing at them will steal their soul or something. That poor girl was just *not* made to dance.

   I actually liked this episode better than I have in a while. It was nice seeing more of a connection between Abby and the girls. There were only a couple moments where Chloe looked like her spark had been officially extinguished, as opposed to looking that way the whole time. Also, I like Christi a LOT better when she is on her “best behavior”. Her venom is much better directed at Cathy than at Abby.

    Oh, and you *know* when Christi was complaining about the skimpy costumes, what she really wanted to say was, “I’m not sure I want my daughter wearing this in front of these grown men (the videographers)” instead of what she actually said, which was “in front of boys”. Somewhere I saw a snapshot of the filming of this show, and it kind of creeped me out seeing the girls in their little bikini-style leotards surrounded by 5-8 adult men with cameras. No wonder they are frequently pulling at their shorts/outfits- I do that too when I feel nervous and exposed.

    I really felt like when Kelly said “she’s setting my kids up to fail!” that she had just realized that she hadn’t said it yet this week. It was like an “oh yeah, I haven’t mentioned our corporate sponsors yet, must rectify that mistake.”

    Jill was by far my favorite this week. Kendall was certainly born to play the part of Rosa Parks! So awesome.

    I was so happy to see Nia have a featured part and completely nail it.

    And I really loved Brooke’s (and even Abby’s reaction) to her forgetting the dance. Brooke’s nervous laugh/covering her face and Abby giving her grief but not going all Abbigeddon on her.

    I am being driven crazy by Kelly’s poor grammar. She used \amazing\ as a verb. You don’t DO amazing, you ARE amazing. I don’t know why it’s bothering me so much .. Maybe it’s the two hours . My parents were raised in Pittsburgh and they don’t sound like Kelly. I blame it on missing so much school for dance. Watch out, Paige and Brooke!

    sooo….Jill gets her panties in a knot because Kendall isn’t on the pyramid last year…I wonder how far up her badonkadonk they are about the fact they aren’t in the opening but Crazy Cathy still is.

    Kelly didn’t use ‘amazing’ as a verb. She used it incorrectly as what would have been a correct adverb. And who cares? It’s reality TV. Get a grip. I love grammar as much as the next person–maybe even more–but I can stay calm in the face of TV-made mistakes.

    Omg I love Christie and her one-liners. There were so many good ones this episode!

    ‘I think we are the ones that need bodyguards….and a sponge’
    hahahahaha love it.

    I think I got the shortened verion online again. It was only 72minutes, the same as last week, and I know last weeks was edited horribly. But this weeks wasnt as bad. oh well.

    I liked how Abby reacted to Brooke forgetting the group dance. She laughed about it along with Brooke. Although with Brookes mistake she kept going and it was near the end so it wasnt too bad. I didnt notice that she messed up until the moms were like ‘wtf is she doing?’ and then of course the close up of brookes face at the end and the recap. that was odd but I still liked the dance and I loved the costumes. You could see Brooke hyperventilating in the wings after, I’m glad Abby didnt yell at her.

    I have been laughing so much I had to go get my asthma puffer. It was worth it though.

    I had to google Rosa Parks (I live in Australia) as I had never heard of her. I now see why Nia was the only one who could be her. Kendall dancing as her would have been like Nia playing one of the Von Trapp Children.
