   Yes! The preview! Notice Angel puts a stop to that immediately. Glitzy mom needs to learn Brigette/Bitchette is a pit viper. She will bite your face off, wipe your blood off her chin, then smile sweetly as she instigates yet another screaming match.

   Why are we just now finding out about Mayra’s storied professional dance career? And we have to find out from Susan no less.

   Lucas had a moment this episode. The list. It’s just words on paper, man.

   Lucas’s solo was amazing, and I loved his “I’m going to keep on dancing no matter where I am on the list” speech. I’m a Lucas fan.

   Why oh why do they insist in putting Hannah in those horrible costumes? The parents/Mayra talk about her like she’s huge, but she’s not (she just haven’t have typical, rail-thin, dancer’s body). The costumes they make her wear are so unflattering to her figure, though.

   I could not decide which mom I dislike the most. Susan, Abby, Bridgette or Debi. I left Ani out because I have always liked her. After last night I finally decided that it is Bridgette. I can not find anything that I like about her. I really do think that if she was not there everyone would get along better. Not great because that would not be allowed, just better. I am very proud of Hannah. She really is the little train that could. I really wish that they would once and for all stop talking about her weight. Enough is enough. She really is a beautiful person inside and out. It will be interesting to see how Mia (the Mia show) and her mother fit in with this group. I would love to see them combine DM and DMM for once fierce competition. Now that would be a show worth watching.

   this week was intense! next week is for sure going to be crazy the new girl mia diaz is most likely on the show to make all the moms go crazy.. not to mention people & mia were sending the producer mass tweets to get her on the show.    the moms, especially brigette and susan, who think their kids are the best are going to be pissed that mia is in the group. & from the looks of it the moms seem to think mia is victor and angels “favorite” we’ll see.

   You know I am maybe going to call bull on the judges saying Hannah is overweight on her dance tapes. We had some big dancers and not ONCE did a judge ever say anything about weight. The closest that ever came to happening was when a judge said we might want to pick more flattering costumes that don’t show midriff if the dancers are not all small. Never did they say you are too fat to dance or lose weight or anything like that. That one comment was costume based.

   The thing is that Stars has a lot of students left still whereas Abby Lee ran a lot of hers off. So yes, they have to work with their other dancers that are paying and are good and need attention too. It is not all about the show there. I feel Abby Lee is all about the show.

   Closet fan: I said the same thing about I would love to see Abby Lee go up against DMM and do a cross over show.

   Hannah was fierce in her solo this week and was the best I have seen her. She is improving. She is a sweet little girl but looked very into character and kind of dark and intense in the solo which shows she is a good artist like they say she is.

   OMG the previews for next week!!! This show might get way more interesting next week.

   I love Mia but her mom looks super I don’t know the word–done up but not in a good way. Does that make sense? Mia is the star of Stars from what I have heard so sounds like all the moms get pissed when she joins the group and gets more attention from everyone else.

   I want a Maddie/Mia showdown. I think they would be up against each other since they are both 9? Is that right? Who would win? I think Mia is better but I don’t like that style of dance as much.

    I don’t like some superficial aspects of Stars (ugly foot, some of the costumes), but VictAng know what they’re doing. Hannah danced with Sammy and improved. Hannah danced with Jessi and Sammy and improved again. She learns a lot from watching better dancers. I know she dances with these girls in group, but I guess there are too many people to worry about for her to concentrate too closely on the others’ technique. VictAng know this will work with Hannah. Jessi and Sammy get something back because they improve as well and it gives them a positive feeling to see her working so hard to keep up with them.

    If Victor advised Hannah and Bob to simply not eat the bun of her hamburger and she complied then they are trying. She’s growing. If she only eats low calorie food it could hinder her growth and her energy. Victor was correct, if she was going to delete part of the meal, the bun was the best thing to go. She may not have been able to get something she would prefer to eat since she was at the airport. I think Bob or Hannah’s sister makes home cooked meals. Bob is also correct that she may need a snack after practice. I know Mayra said, “pizza” but it may have been just one slice of cheese pizza. Unless I hear she’s scarfing down a full deep dish pizza, I’m not going to get too excited.

    I would imagine judges would want to be careful with how they speak since these are children. But, Hannah has heard every way to talk around her weight thanks to the moms, so… she may have read between the lines (or thought she did).

    I also don’t have any problem believing she’s within the normal weight range per her doctor. A doctor wants her to get nutrition. The doctor knows she’s exercising. I think a kid has to be bigger than Hannah before a doctor recommends a diet because kids are growing. This time next year she could be three inches taller and slim. I think Bob is right, people are putting off Bob’s hefty size on Hannah. According to Bob (which, I know), her other daughters aren’t built like her. I guess their dad is a slimmer person.

    Sorry to keep posting….
    I feel like Stars dancing is too much on the extensions and holding poses and that Abby Lee maybe is the other extreme a lot with moving from one move to another to another sometimes too fast. Especially with Maddie’s solos. I am all about the happy medium with some extensions and slow movements and some fast combined together in a lovely choreography. That is how my studio mostly did it and how I always choreographed.

    I have heard Mia’s mother relentlessly promotes Mia on YT, FB, etc. So, she has little fans coming into this. That being said, I surely hope her joining doesn’t cause anyone else to leave. It is still a fairly small group and the other kids will learn from her (and her from them).

    If Mia is VictAng’s best student (IDK), then they will give her extra attention. They will want to nurture her talent. I am sure her mother’s desire to promote her will make them decide that is the reason, but I doubt it. But, VictAng seem really aware of their students’ needs and abilities.

    April, Angel tweeted Giana and said he’d love for her to visit and teach a class. I would love to see some of the girls do dances choreographed by her just to see the contrast.

    I think Vict/Ang have good intentions but they are way too involved in the way these kids interact with their parents. They aren’t psychoanalysts and the parent/child relationship, even if it looks horrible to outsiders, isn’t something to mess with. Especially from the child’s side. They should NOT be telling the kids to defy their parents, no matter how stupidly the parents are behaving — that’s just going to cause or increase insecurity on the kids’ part. It’s having a negative effect on Jessi, who now thinks it’s ok to say that she’s going to “slap” her mother if she suggests taking her out of the studio again. Susan is a psycho-bitch but she is all Jessi’s got. Making fun of her the way Vict/Ang do makes Jessi feel ashamed and act like a thug. And MAYRA?? I have no words for her meddling bullshit.

    I don’t like the choreography here either. It’s a very choppy style of dance. My daughter does a move where she’s imitating the DMM dancers – she lifts her leg way up then puts her hands on her face and stares at her foot like she’s never seen it before. It’s pretty funny

    Oo– there was one thing that happened that my little brain just POUNCED on. When Bob called Abbi “beautiful and something-or-other” and Abbi said “That’s better than being ugly and something-or-other.” At first I thought, “That Abbi is such a bitch. Why go to ‘ugly’ like that?” But then I thought, “Why the hell did Bob throw ‘beautiful’ in there to begin with?” And I now see that exchange as a great example of how passive-aggressive victimhood-lovers work. The argument had reached its most heated, least rational stage. Bob throws in “beautiful” and she before she realizes what she’s doing Abbi is calling someone “ugly.” People like Bob bring out the bully in everyone around them.

    Maryedith: I also think that Abbi and Sammy are kinda right. I do think the other moms are jealous of them. They are jealous of Sammy being a great dancer and having the most perfect dancer body ever. And they are jealous of Abbi for being the only not fat one minus Ani and the prettiest or one of the prettiest moms. They also said something about being rich so maybe they are jealous of their money too?

    Sometimes when you say people don’t like you because they are jealous, you are right. Doesn’t make you conceited. Just makes you right.

    mias mother DOES relentlessly promote her and has been for some time, so it seems. If you google her she is on numerous fashion modeling sites & her mother also has her doing numerous videos on youtube, skyping with fans (which is nice of her) & her mother has also created a “fan club” for her where all her fans are called “diazlers” The kid is amazingly talented though, so I have to give her credit. She has tons of fans and people tweeting her. She was even trending on twitter last night. I think the real question will be weather she is a cocky kid or if she is humble about her talent … I guess we will see next tuesday. I must admit though that I am a fan of Mia and her dancing. TEAM MIA !

    The other kids certainly seemed happy to see her. I wonder if her mother was the reason Angel couldn’t go with them to Starbound. Maybe in the end they gave her an ultimatum: Join the tv team or lose Vict/Ang for Mia.

    I believe it was Susan who called her “beautiful” because Abby’s ugly comment was directed at her.

    I lived in So. Fla for 23 year and I know where all these people live. Abby and Sammy live in Parkland (which is an hour away) and it is one of the richest sections in Broward County. What I find amazing is Bob and Hannah live in Delray Beach which is like an hour and a half away on a good day. I can’t imagine what it is like with rush hour traffic. That to me is an insane drive.

    Ok about the weight thing, my only issue was with Bob saying that she didn’t want Hannah to turn into her. Well not to get on my high horse but then maybe mom should get on the treadmill or eat a salad herself. As much as I HATE to agree with Bitchette, but Bob does not practice what she preaches. I am not saying she should be Abby sized, but she does not need to be on the upper end of the Lane Bryant spectrum either. The fact of the matter is Bob is Hannah’s biggest influence as far as that goes. My daughter is 15 thin and muscular and can eat us out of house and home. I have to make sure not to bring junk food into the house. She can eat a full meal when she gets home, go to dance and eat another full meal. If you are on the run, have Subway. My thinking and what I tell her is that she has to watch what she eats because she will not be dancing 12 hours a week forever and at some point you cannot continue to eat like you are. It’s not being mean, but realistic.

    Am I the only one who thought the love fest at the end of this episode was setting us up for and all of us against the new mom next week?

    Oh and if that lady put her hand in my face like she did to Bitchette in the preview, I would smack it down too. Just sayin…

    Kimmi is right. When I danced 5 hours a day I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain an ounce. Then when I quit dancing I started putting on weight because I ate as I had before. Just didn’t think about how much calories I was burning dancing and how I could no longer eat whatever I wanted because I no loner burned it all off.

    Kimmi Paul, but would people believe you were going to smack her upside her head or would they just think you were taking her hand out of your face? Angel reacted like he fully expected bitchette to lay her out in a literal sort of way. And I think he is probably reading Bitchette correctly. The other woman twittered last night that she didn’t press charges because she “loves Lucas.”

    No one else there, not even crazy Susan. Not even Jessi who said she’d slap Susan would actually go after anyone else (she loves Susan, she’d never seriously slap her… making slapping motion maybe, slap her.. no). Bitchette would. People need to not get in her face ever. Also, don’t use any of her trigger words, ever. Since those mostly involve Lucas, Mia’s mother will need to learn how to compliment her daughter without throwing any shade Lucas’s way. He’s a good dancer and a nice boy. That shouldn’t be too hard. I don’t know that she threw shade at Lucas, but the way Bitchette went after her… probably something she didn’t think was so bad, but Bitchette sure as hell did.

    I know this sounds like I am giving Bitchette a pass. But, most women do not care to get physical, ever. With some, you have to know how to keep them from going there. Snatched out hair doesn’t magically go back and Angel won’t always be there to bundle her out of your face.

    HOLY SHIT! Did I just watch a sweet little girl do a cute little dancer to a dirty nasty song while LIP SYNCHING IT? Yes, I did. Mia dances beautifully to in the last clip April posted, but it is to a slowed down version of Poker Face by Lady Gaga (complete lyrics). I can’t ignore lyrics and since this music is more singing than the regular version, it is hard to ignore things in that song that I don’t even want to have in the same headspace as a sweet little competition dance. Jesus wept. Google lyrics, parents! If you aren’t sure what some words/phrase mean urban dictionary! I’d advised muting it unless all lyrics sound like dadedodade to you which I guess they must to some people.

    But, PhiPhi O’hara is probably learning Mia’s dance right now. The only difference is it will be him singing not Lady Gaga. And him dancing. And all of Willam’s songs will be part of the tags as well as every name associated with DM/DMM. Aw, that will give Bitchette a worthy target. Werq!

    Hmmm..Mia vs Maddie showdown? Kinda hard to call based off of the ‘Poker Face’ video. I mean, you can clearly see she’s a good little dancer, but she wasn’t so much dancing as she was performing if that makes sense. It was like watching a music video for the song instead of watching a dancer actually dance, and since I LOVE the way Maddie dances, I’d give the win to her because she performs when she dances instead of dancing a little while she performs. You probably don’t get it, but in my head that logic totally makes sense!

    That being said, I would LOVE to see what Giana could do with her, Kimmy, & Sammy! I was actually just thinking the exact same thing while watching the show before someone said Vic tweeted her to come teach a class. That would be awesome!

    WHY WHY WHY do they insist on putting poor Hannah in those god-awful, totally UNFLATTERING costumes?! WHY? Is Hannah heavier than many dancers her age? Sure. Is she “fat”? No, not by “normal” standards. And obsessing over at this age is the best way I know of to set her up with a life-long eating disorder, so I applaud her mom for standing up to Mayra. Bob is right. Hannah is a GOOD dancer. On the same level as Jessi, or even Kimmy? No, but she’s a GOOD dancer who brings something to every number she’s in. STOP PUTTING HER IN COSTUMES THAT MAKE HER LOOK HUGE!! And for the love of all that is god and right in the world knock it off with the unicorn buns!

    Anyone notice the return of the awful awful buns on the top of the head? Where did they get the idea this was attractive? Also all the head shots for the stars kida make them look like they are 19/20 trying to sneak into the bar. Even little Kimmi Its ok to be kids and not beat them with the “age 10 years and hideous hair” stick.

    @fancyface, that Poker Face solo is a musical theater number. When musical theater is judged, the performance is more important than the amount of technique in the performance, but she has other solo’s posted that show more dance and technique.

    Mia is VERY good at imitation. She’s imitating much older dancers including Lady Gaga. She seems like a normal, sweet girl when she first begins the number. So, I think with a better song and a dance made for a young girl, she would do beautifully. Of course, she doesn’t realize exactly what’s the difference between her and Lady Gaga other than LG is older, famous, and known for a million crazy costumes. I think moms sometimes just see their little girl and know she’s dancing like her favorite videos and just think nothing else of it. I guess it’s good the show will show Mia is a typical little girl except for her talent for dancing.

    Pageant Grandma, I think Hannah (and some of the other girls) would look cute in one of those little dance dresses. A lot of girls wear them, so there are probably a hundred variations. Then fix their hair better. There has to be something that is arty and out of the way, but less severe. Mia is really the only one who looks cute with that thing on her head. I think she’d look better another way, but she can somewhat pull it off for now.

    @gun kata, she’s not imitating Lady Gaga in that solo. The point of a musical theater piece is to act out the song and perform along to the music, as if she was on Broadway.

    Bautin, I had no idea about this “musical theater” thing. So, that’s a category? Is the first video Cathy21 (it’s called I’m Happy and done to a compilation of songs… mostly by RuPaul) also musical theater?

    Which seeing a baby dancing to “It’s Raining Men” skeeved me out even if overall the RuPaul songs were more wholesome than “Poker Face.”

    Bautin, it isn’t a direct imitation of Lady Gaga. But, it has her flavor in some of the moves. That is what I meant. I understand what she’s doing. I didn’t know about this musical theater category, but I have seen many dancers and learned things that were supposed to be influenced by rather than be a direct imitation of (whatever).

    One of the places I lurk had some Pittsburgh competition news. So, I have put a spoiler below.

    SPOILER for Pittsburgh Dance Moms season 3

    The girls, moms, and Abby went to Starbound in Atlanta May 19/20. Chloe and Maddie had solos. They both danced well. Maddie’s was “Mom, It’ll Never Be the Same” while Chloe’s was “Trouble.” Melissa was specifically filmed buying a solo costume for Maddie. There was a trio “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us” with Paige, Nia, and Mackenzie. Brooke’s solo was “Paint the Pictures.” Payton was there and did a solo “Eternally.” The Group was “All Kids Go.” The moms were friendly as were the girls. Payton didn’t have a team jacket. Abby Lee kept to herself. RESULT SPOILERS Jrs: Mz/1, Cl/5. Teen: Bh/2, Pa/7. Trio: 5. Group: 1. END SPOILERS

    I found this photo on Stars’ website. It shows a bunch of Stars students, but Hannah is second from the right kneeling in front. This is what she looks like among the other kids of various ages who attend there (other dancers from DMM are in the photo as well).

    I wish I had known they were in Atlanta. I would have gone there to see them live.

    Yeah sometimes you don’t realize how bad the lyrics are. We had little girls dancing to Grease Lightning one time and then it was not until after the dance was all the way finished and about to go to recital that we read the lyrics. Ooops.

    I don’t think Mia is a great dancer. She does a lot of “poses” and plays with the facial intensity like Maddie does. Dance dang it, stop with the legs up and the arms outstretched, no real movement with her. I just don’t care for the DMM style at all.

    I am not of fan of pretty much all their costumes at Stars. I prefer the Abby Lee costumes with the pretty dance dresses and skirts. Like with Mia’s Ave Maria dance. It would have looked so much better in a skirt compared to shorts.

    I feel like lyrical and contemporary pieces are more skirt and dress costumes and jazz and hip hop and tap are more shorts or pants costumes. That is just me.

    OMG, I just read from someone who says they compete against Stars that Abby and Sammy walked out (after Bitchette’s screaming at Sammy) in February and it was much longer than a few days before Abby and Sammy returned. This person says the producers are not showing things in chronological order oftentimes.

    I don’t know if the following is a spoiler, so I’ll skip down…

    SPOILERS DM MIAMI
    SPOILERS

    There will be a cliffhanger episode. DMM has been filming season 2. Their break between seasons was months ago. So, they might be close to being finished with season 2.

    Also, some people say Mia was on there, but her mom had a lot of demands. So, she left. Then she returned. I am not so sure about that, but maybe someone knows more. I don’t know even if her mom had demands what kind of thing they were. Maybe Mia had other commitments?

    The first person also says Sammy only dances with Stars for the show. She goes elsewhere most of the time (maybe her original studio closer to home?). They didn’t say if it has always been like that perhaps because her dad wants her closer to home or if that is in response to all the drama around Abby and the other moms as well as Bitchette and Sammy.

    Here are some more Pittsburgh competition related results I found. I hope it’s o.k. to post this. I will put a spoiler. This is info I found, I don’t go to competitions myself.

    SPOILERS DM PITTSBURGH

    The person who originally posted this said the mothers and girls are nice and polite to others. They do get their own dressing room, but the crew tries not to inconvenience others. However, some people who want to see the DM girls behaved rudely including talking when the audience should be quiet.

    This person also said that Payton and Brooke are competing and sometimes placing in the teen division. But, this person didn’t get their results. There are other results they just missed such as the group or trio.

    5/12 and 13, Nexstar. Mackenzie, 2nd. Cl 6, Ph 7. Group 5.
    5/5 and 6 (two competitions?) Maddie 1st and 1st. She got Jr. Miss Starpower at both. Chloe 4th. Group 2nd, won 1st in choreogaphy for age division.
