Born in New York, went to school in Boston and now living in San Diego.  I got a degree in Engineering only to basically abandon it and now attempting to be a screenwriter, trying to make money any way I can on the way.  As a long time fan of TVGasm, I'm excited to be a part of the team and here to make you guys laugh.

Hey, if I was any good at this I’d be a recapper. And I’m not. And I was a little cranky last week and I’m sorry.

So….very much looking forward to your full recap which I am sure will be just fine. :)

@JTC, I am liking your recaps and I’m glad you’re finding your footing with a show that you enjoy.

I hate that every time Dexter gets some sort of adversary, that adversary is eventually killed for the sake of plot. It’s frustrating, and I don’t understand why the writers remove the stakes at every turn. Deb’s inability to comprehend Dexter’s lifestyle is not enough to sustain a season and creating new characters when this show should be moving toward a satisfying ending is a huge mistake. I just want Deb to finally stand up to Dexter, exorcise her romantic feelings, and actually be the good cop she has trained to be for her entire life.

The series may end with her killing Dex by mistake. She feels awful but she has stopped the killing spree. Out would be an amazing finale if Dex does in her arms by her own hand.

Back to the current plot, I won’t miss Louie who acted more like a petulant child than a true adversary…mailing stuff, sinking boats..he wasn’t going to go hard, just be a nuisance…a few ep diversion. But his blood on the boat will bring some of Dex’s colleagues sniffing around which is familiar territory for Dex.

Either Dex has to kill Deb or Deb has to kill Dex. They both can’t survive the end of the series as far as I am concerned. Which probably means the writers will do something entirely different and weird that I’ll hate. But I can hope.

This season is seriously making me rethink going into my garage. 101 Ways To Kill A Person Using Tools You Have Around The House.

Worst. Detectives. Ever. Is there any cliche they don’t employ in their ‘crime fighting’? Deb goes to the house and suspects a murder is happening. TV detective cliche #1: Don’t call for back up or tell anyone where you are, just go blindly in on your own into a completely unknown situation that will no doubt turn incredibly dangerous. TV detective cliche #2: Don’t find the light switch and at least ATTEMPT to throw a little light into the situation at any point. Just wander the halls in the dark and hope you find him before he finds you. That can sometimes be strategic, but more often than not it’s just atmospheric for us at home. TV detective cliche #3: Leave your back open so the bad guy can sneak up on you and take you down. TV detective cliche #4: Lose your gun when falling and make sure it remains out of reach. You don’t want the good guy to win too soon. TV detective cliche #5: When hitting the bad guy over the head, just throw down the clubbing weapon and leave him there, assuming he is unconscious and will remain so without checking or disabling him in some way in case he recovers. That way he can either a) get up and run off or b) get up and attack you from behind. TV detective cliche #6: Don’t actually get a good look at the bad guy before he takes off so you can’t positively ID him later when challenged. If he is wearing a mask, don’t remove it. You can always look later, right? Oh, he ran off? Who would anticipated that happening?

And can anyone believe that shaving his head means there is no DNA evidence or anything at all left behind in that mess he created to pursue the girl inside that house? Surely he cut himself on the razor wire at least. Plus: Dead Body. He left immediately after killing her. He had no time to clean up. If she scratched him, if he left anything at all on her body, that has to be found, right? Surely.

I love you show but sometimes you make it so hard.

I’m thinking of turning my front porch into the sadistic maze for the Halloween trick-or-treaters. Too scary??
