Well, ladies and gentlemen, the finale opens with only one hour left until the wedding begins. The bridal party and groomsmen are assembling to walk down the aisle ahead of Kim, while the caterers are preparing the food and the DJ is setting up. The guests are arriving and it won’t be long before Kim becomes Mrs. Biermann. It’s been a long eight weeks…a really, really, really loooong eight weeks.
I detect a strong odor of mendacity!
For the first time, Kim is starting to feel nervous, worried that she’ll forget her vows. All she should be focused on, though, is keeping those massive boobs in that expensive, gently-used dress. Kroy is overcome with emotions and tears up when he sees his bride walking down the aisle towards him. I must admit that I cried a little, too. It is lovely when two people enter into a marriage madly in love with each other’s money. This is only the beginning of tears and bank statements that arrive promptly at the beginning of every month.
This time, the man makes the clothes.
After the ceremony, the guests mingle while the wedding party takes pictures inside of the estate. Before heading to the reception tent, Kim presents Kroy with his wedding guest. He likey very much. Touch down, Kim!
Drama starts when Kim’s aunt feels entitled to use the bathroom inside instead of the luxury porta-potty that everyone else is using. When Kim’s mother hears about it, she takes it up several notches and creates more drama than the banished landlord ever could have wished for. Karen is eventually escorted out while Kim and Kroy cut their beautiful wedding cake and dance with their family and guests. Kim says at least her mother got to see her walk down the aisle, even if the evening ends for Karen with a security escort and blue lights.
The full recap is on its way, so check back soon.

sigh…..I do love me a love story!!!! And not disrespect to our fair groom but Squishy Baby is hands down the handsomest member of that wedding party.
Cannot wait to read the whole recap and re-watch this “event”—Jeepers reminds me of my own wedding day–no side boob tho for Cawfee.
gently-used dress = lolz!
Omg and wth was that?! Not your recap, BSL, that was great as always!
I was of course referring to Karen’s behavior! Please tell me she didn’t know lil KJ was asleep in the very same room she barged into all cursing up a blue streak? Poor thing hears his grandma’s voice yellings at his dad to eff off; I’d start crying too!
wth is the matter with that woman?! She should have stayed home sick!
BSL, I’m gonna miss your fabulous recaps of DBTFTW. I hope Kim does get a spin off and you can continue your humorous and insightful commentary on Kim’s world. A strong odor of mendacity- sounds like an Ignatius observation. The picture certainly fits. LOL
What was up with her used boobalage 1st dress? Ugh! She should’ve got married in the 2nd dress. The veil that went with the 2nd dress sucked though. Too poofy.
Romo, I chuckled at BSL’s analysis of Kim keeping those massive boobs insider her dress. The first dress looked like a cross between a stripper’s wedding dress on the top and Marie Antoinette on the bottom. But, it is Kim after all.
You got that right CJ! Kim’s just a flashy but so not classy bimbo.
Lol about Kim’s dad thinking Karen was going to be jealous, huh? That loud mouth lady could care less what he was doing. He was just trying so hard too! Dancing away with those young, pretty ladies and all looking around for Karen to bust him. Poor guy.
Best scene of the night: the newly-formed Biermann clan lip synching to Kandi’s never gonna be a hit “Fly Above,” as if that song was wedding appropriate, notwithstanding Kandi’s explanation.
I haven’t seen my DVR of the finale yet, but as I was watching the previous episode in which Kim’s getting prepared, it hit me that her profile is very much like Bob Hope’s. Bob Hope in drag. Thanks for the mammaries (to milk-ahem-an old joke)!
Ha! Can’t wait for the full recap, BSL! Did anyone get the feeling that the baby’s crying was dubbed in? I don’t have TIVO (my family has banned me for using it too often for my reality t.v. ‘issues’), but it seems like Kim would have been bitching up a storm complaining LOUDLY that the baby was now awake. I didn’t hear that. Whatcha think?
@Gilty Plezzur, Bwahhahaha!
@Derek…Actually Kandi wrote that song inspired by all the heat Kim was taking after season one. Kim actually cried REAL tears when she first heard it & used the lyrics to boost her confidence to ‘sing’ on camera again after the ‘tight rope recording fiasco’, so I found it very apropos for her to sing at her
Also, idk what you meant, but Fly Above was/is very popular & made it to the top of the charts. But so did a lot of crap, so that’s not saying much. But Fly Above was definitely a hit.
@fancyface, my apologies for being wrong, I seem to recall that Kandi’s album didn’t sell well. I live in Philly, and I don’t really recall it being played on the R&B stations up here and they definitely try and support reality TV stars (because of interviews) and former girl-group stars (probably also for interviews).
@ 12 Fancy– wasn’t the song written after the fiance AJ died?????
@Derek…no worries & you are right about the album that song was on…it didn’t do that well at all, but the song as a single really took off.
@HotCawfee…no it was written before. @ the beginning of her 1st season. Although, she did perform memoriam to him @ the reunion. Which I didn’t get because it didn’t seem relevant .
@CJ I think it’s Big Daddy from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof? @BelowSeaLevel will have to say for sure.
Either way I bet you a Christmas ham you like 1 of my favorite books in the whole world.
Anyway I can’t wait for the recap. SquishyK really is a cute baby. And I’m 1 of those people that thinks most of them are just average. But I doubt that was his 1st time hearing cuss words.
Even with all the shenanigans I thought the wedding was lovely. The song that played during their first dance was great! I had to dig to find out who it was – but its called “Beauty in the Breakdown” by Seth Glier. I downloaded it from iTunes. Great album.
