We been bamboozled.

Before that, though, let’s get to what happened in the episode.

The queens gather in the work room to discuss how awesome Chad and Sharon are and how much Phi Phi sucks, at least that’s what I heard in my head. then its time for the final challenge – shooting the video for Glamazon.  Sharon is, unsurprisingly, somewhat tragic at choreography but a good actress, Chad is a professional, if somewhat prissy and girly, and Phi Phi sucks. Shooting the choreography doesn’t go well for Sharon, but we do learn that Mathu Anderssen has decided to go for a new, Grizzly Adams meets Doomsday Preppers look.  Bold move.

The next day the queens get to meet with Raja and Tyra Sanchez to run lines and chit chat or talk shit about each other, but no one really does. Except they do briefly discuss what an asshole Phi Phi is until Chad gives her the out of being “young” and Tyra latches on to that because martyr complexes among bitches never die.  Then Chad and Raja get emotional because they’ve been friends forever and everyone loves Chad.  Lunch is lunch where we get to know a queen better over orange Tic Tacs, although we do get some background on Chad and Phi Phi.  Then it’s on to the acting portion of the video.  Per Mathu, Chad’s prissy but takes direction well, Sharon takes a punch and Phi Phi hammed it up so much that Mathu actually laughed at her.  I love it when he does that.

So it’s on to the runway.  Chad’s looking like an intergalactic showgirl/hooker Chad, Phi Phi’s looking like Fat Ass Phi Phi Flintstone from Bedrock, and Sharon has tentacles.  Really.  They jibber jabber with the judges, they watch the video they get good and bad critiques and then they’re dismissed so the judges can continue giving non-commital critiques in private and no one’s giving anything away.

Queens come back and Ru decides to break all the rules by having all three lip synch and it’s still looking like a toss up between Chad and Sharon with Phi Phi spinning and flapping and flailing like the asshole she is.

But all that was prelude.  Finally, RuPaul’s ready to announce the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race is….

To be announced on the reunion next Monday.

Bitch!

    What the hell is Michelle thinking??? Sharon has shown the MOST versatiliy! She went from Nosferatu on the first episode to frilly and girly glam on week two. Is she (Michelle) on crack? How about last week? Sharon KILLED the runway with gorgeous femininity. If PhiPhi is the next generation of drag, I weep for the future. Uggh! Michelle … gurrrrl … 5 Gs!!!

    I have watched the lipsync a bunch (at least 15 times heh) times.

    PhiPhi … saw ALL of her SAME moves when she did the LSFYL against Sharon a few weeks back. Seriously, saddest “death” drop evah. Just pathetic.

    Chad – Eleganza! Nice performance. She had a couple of moves she used last week against Latrice ((love & miss that fierce queen!)

    Sharon – Out of the box, new, never before seen. Exciting! LOVE!!!! For the LSFYL – Hands down … it goes to Sharon. Sharon – FTW!

    How much better would Showgirls have been, had they used tentacles vs. beads? Some serious calamari carnage going down on stage. I was living!

    I was so annoyed at the end of the episode. SO ANNOYED. Ugh, having to wait basically three weeks for the real finale? I did hear though that the reunion hasn’t been filmed yet, it will be on Friday so it looks like Ru really might be trying to listen and (Hopefully) avoid another Tyra.

    Speaking of Tyra what the hell was up with that wig? Raja looked fierce and Tyra looked a hot mess.

    As for the Runway, Chad looked beautiful, Sharon looked true to form and polished and Phi Phi….well um. Okay, PhiPhi has a good body, we all know that but her proportions constantly are awful. She looked so chunky in that ugly Flinestones reject and I am so sick of her wearing the same piled on over done Toddlers and Tiara’s hair. How come she’s never been clocked for never changing up her look?!

    Then Lip Sync. Both Sharon and Chad were being unique and staying on tempo for the song, but PhiPhi was like Kenya Michael’s vs. Latrice, not on the right tempo, doing moves that totally didn’t fit and looking a mess.

    I thought for sure though after the comment from Michelle about PhiPhi that they were going to give that tired showgirl the crown.

    One more week….

    I would have been more annoyed had I gone through with my season final drag race party. Acck!

    I felt last night’s show was an homage to one of my kid’s favorite TV shows with Ru giving us Spongebob Squarepants’ realness. Sharon channeling Squidward face, face, face, beauty face. PhiPhi took on Patrick Starr … depicting both the color choice and body shape.

    I really can’t believe RuPaul would allow PhiPhi to win. Drag is suppose to be about acceptance right…they preach, preach about no bullying and being able to change up your look. PHIPHI is a bully, a back stabber, liar, and just jealous of everyone. I can see a fan coming up to her now and her screaming or talking about them behind their back….Really just hand the damn thing to Sharon…or we could break more rules and have a TIE..Sharon & Chad who both deserve this and GOD why couldn’t they have been on different seasons!? Honestly I can’t wait for that dumb ass jiggly to see how PHIPHI did her in. NEWSFLASH Michelle that is not drive or ambition that is EVIL Bitchery!!

    i read on another site that Ru’s decision to announce the winner at the reunion is an effort to show that sharon and /or chad are more popular that phiphi. the commenter claimed they had heard absolut was putting pressure on ru and the show to make phi phi the winner because they thought sharon was too “out there”. by giving the audience a chance to vote, and postponing the reveal, ru is making a point.

    i think that theory makes as much sense as anything else, and it puts everything in a bit more positive light.

    I think Sharon won the LSFYL. Phi Phi looked spazzy during it.

    Sharon was bad at choreography but so was Raja last season and she still won so keep that in mind. If it was based on being good at choreography Alexis Mateo would have won because she mopped the floor with Raja at choreography.

    I was not digging Tyra or Raja’s looks. I loved Rupaul’s look. Loved Sharon’s look. Phi Phi tends to favor those weird swimsuit onesie type outfits. I swear she has worn like 4 of those things.

    Phi Phi actually acted like a decent human being this episode. I was shocked.

    I voted for Sharon!!!!

    I heard a rumor that Phi Phi won and it was leaked and I was like sick to my stomach over it. I was sitting there watching the whole episode just in dread for her to win. I was so glad when she didn’t and they are letting the fans decide! I have a feeling they wanted it to be Phi Phi too……..

    I heard that the reason for no winner is so there isn’t a leak like last season and everyone knowing about Raja’s win months ahead of the finale. Granted she deserved the win, but still sucks when it’s spoiled like that. Plus this totally upstages the WDWD drama. You know Willam is pissed about Ru doing this and totally stealing the thunder behind all the controversy.

    The only good thing about this is that Phi Phi will see that no matter what, she’s a loser. The votes are pouring in for Sharon and Chad, and Phi Phi can barely get a trickle.

    j’adore sharon but she was lame last night. they were all lame. it was a lame episode entirely. that video director was a douche especially when he was being mean to sharon. the campy and not particularly funny acting was terminal. no guest judges, wtf? sharon’s runway look was cool but the squid hands were just weird and kid’s costumey. phi phi was actually not bad in the challenges but her runway was pathetic. the wilma flintstone onesy was silly and her body just doesn’t look so hot. chad is just too old school. it’s not modern. if she had done more of the debate character kind of thing she might have given sharon a run for her money. raja and tyra both looked like crap and added nothing. sharon for the win but that epi last night was a giant disappointment!

    The reunion is being filmed b4 a live audience tomorrow. Yes there are rumors about the Absolut guy not wanting Sharon, but Ru tweeted that the ONLY reason was because of leaks, specifically Raja’s last year.

    And there are no votes. Ru just wanted the fand “opinions”.

    And Michelle never said Phical Matter was the future. She said “the next generation”, which, technically she is. But so is the fiercer Dida Ritz.

    If the reunion is being filmed before a live audience and won’t premiere until almost a week later, how will Rupaul avoid leaks? I mean, if one wants the element of surprise, then natural they don’t disclose such sensitive information in front of a live audience and expect them to keep quiet over the weekend. That shit will go viral faster than KONY 2012.

    There have never been guest judges for the final show. It’s only her “regular” judges because they know the queens from day one (well except Santino can’t really be considered a regular since he missed more than 1/2 the season) But that’s the way she’s always done it.

    Don’t forget this was heavily edited for “equality” since there was no winner announced. It’s all a big tease

    They never remember her girly looks! Shouldn’t the judges be required to rewatch all the previous runways and whatnot before shooting the final panel? The human memory isn’t as infallible as Michelle seems to believe

    We had Latrice’s elimination 2 weeks ago

    The boring recap show 1 week ago

    This week should have been the reveal and crowning

    But it wont be till next week.

    So it’s been three weeks since the last real episode of the season.

    I’M DYING TO KNOW THE WINNER! Ru better not fuck it up.

    No matter what, Phi Phi has ensured herself a spot on All-Stars, considering the show needs a villain to stir the shit and she’s the perfect fit for that role. I have to believe that once Phi Phi saw all of the original queens and the level of ‘talent’ in the room, she knew that the only way for her to stand out and stay relevant was to be the love-to-hate villain. Except, she went too far and became simply “hate.”

    @cbc-cca, the saddest part of this list is that I recognize 7 of the 8 reality villains. With respect to Wendy Pepper, when someone drew on her kid’s picture and she actually showed emotion, I felt bad for her. If it wasn’t for her and her polarizing personality, Project Runway wouldn’t have been the phenomenon it was. I’m surprised that they didn’t bring her back for All-Stars, because she definitely would merit some recognition (even if it was a redemption tour).

    I also don’t think Zulema should have made the list. Committing a faux pas doesn’t equal full-on villain status and you should at least be on the show for more than half of the season (imho). So, while Colton was deplorable, I don’t think he should be included, either.

    So, the credit card PP kept ranting about belonged to Willam’s father. I don’t really understand why Willam receiving designer shoes from his dad is a bad thing. But, PP’s feverishly churning brain works in mysterious ways.

    @gun kata, I’m guessing it’s simply jealousy since PP’s family life was so negative and Willam actually is supported by his family.
