We are back with America’s favorite drag queens plus Mimi Imfurst. I will be your recapper this season and I can’t even believe it! I feel like I’ve won a pageant.

Now, don’t you young’uns fret, I will not reveal losers and winners in the minicaps, so feel free to read on.
We have the best of the best this season…along with the worst of the worst. Our all-star queens are:
Pandora Boxx
Lartrice “Muthafukin’” Royale
Nina Flowers
Tammie Brown
Shannel
Chad Michaels
Jujubee
Manila Luzon
Raven
Yara Sofia
Alexis Mateo
That’s right, 11 of the fiercest queens in the her-story of Drag Race…oh yeah, and then there’s Mimi Infurst. “Who’s that?”, you say? Oh, you remember her. Her Summerstock experience makes her overact in tranny sci-fi, she paints teeth on her eyes, and gets her LSFYL moves from the WWE. Now you remember, don’t you? Yes, someway, somehow this trainwreck who tries waaaay too hard has made her way back on our screens. She’s lost a bit of weight and tries to show us she’s turned over a new leaf, but we learn inUntucked that nothing’s changed.
Now, we can’t have an all-stars season without some monkey wrenches thrown at those experienced at the game. This season we will see the 12 queens broken up into teams of two in which they’ll remain the entire season. Yes, you heard me. I hope this doesn’t mean we get screwed out of episodes seeing as how this is the best reality competition on TV.
The teams are chosen by whichever two girls pick each other to be their partner until two remain like the gym class leftovers. I’ll give you the new team names and you can either guess or wait for the full recap for the full disclosure.
We have:
Mandora
Rujubee
Brown Flowers
Shad
Yarlexis
Latrila
The challenge this week is to create two photoshoots that show the team’s personality. The first photoshoot is “half-baked”, meaning only half transformed. The second is called “opposites attract”.
With that said, our LFYL song is Paula Abdul’s “Opposites Attract” and we do get to witness a Roger Rabbit dance move which most definitely livened up a snoozefest of a LSFYL for me. I can do me a mean Roger Rabbit. We also get a blurred eye-full of Raven’s bird and Pandora is not at all happy with her partner.
I’ll have the full recap up as soon as possible, sweetcheeks. Until then, catch up on these fabulous queens on our previous Drag Race recaps!

Love this show, but not happy about Mimi being on here and not sure how I feel about the team thing. I think I heard there were only 6 episodes and we were wondering how that would work and I guess now we know.
I am team Yarlexis. I know they probably won’t win, but I love the best anyway.
My prediction is that one half of the team that sashay’d away will make a surprise return at some point…because that was just cold-blooded wrongness.
And lemme just say…Raven has got one sweet carcass.
I don’t know how or when it happened but I’m suddenly a Raven fan. Go figure. So Team RUJUBEE!
Although I wouldn’t mind Latrila, either. Brown Flowers is just a pipe dream, I know, but I love them both. Even if Tammie’s….unique.
And by the way, welcome to the RPDR recapping club. They’re not all this easy.
I almost cried watching Untucked. When Alexis was talking about what Mimi did to her. Man that is cold and she seemed about to start crying. Leave my favorite Drag Queen alone Mimi!
Best moment was on Untucked when Tammie did that crazy shocked thing and then was like “This is me acting” in response to Mimi. Love it!
OMG…Tammie’s Marlena Deitrich comment deserves it’s own show.
What exactly did Mimi do to Alexis? Alexis admitted she was fired from a job and Mimi was hired. Alexis had a case of the “jellies” when she retold the story, but because the rest of the cast is RuPaul’s version of “Mean Girls,” it was a little unfair to blame someone for being hired for something you got fired for. A little shady? Maybe. Wrong? No.
living for this show!
I have never seen season 1 ( why is it not available on logo or netflix WHY?!) So the amazingness of Tammie Brown was new to me…wow…when she is out of drag is just as crazy as when she is in drag…I am confused and intrigued buy her- so weird it’s fierce.
I am not loving the teams thing…I did hear that there are only 6 episodes! ugh, better than nothing, I guess.
From what I got Mimi came to Alexis’s club and basically took over her job. Now we all know how that stuff can happen where maybe you date the boss or something so it is shady. Could be something like that. Alexis is probably way better at performing and professionalism than Mimi so I don’t see how Mimi deserved the job over Alexis.
My favorite show is back… but only for 6 episodes… damn Ru !
Fucking Mimi ! That bitch has not changed one bit… but she got a very favorable edit.
If I had not watched Untucked, I would have given her the benefit of the doubt. Poor Alexis…
I love so many of those queens that I don’t know which team to support.
I’m sorry, but Tammie Brown is annoying. I just wish she would shut up and sit down. And I don’t find her drag pretty or even interesting.
I’m honestly very upset that she’s tied to one of my favorite queens in RPDR history.
As for Mimi and Alexis, clearly, Mimi was banging the club owner or she paid him off.
One thing for Alexis, she can turn out a performance. Mimi has made some entertaining outfits, but when you ask her to get into motion, it’s a fail to end all fails. No way someone fires Alexis and replaces her with Mimi without some kind of coercion.
Team Rujubee.
@ chaos: Thank god I’m not the only one! I love weird but I honestly find Tammie creepy. I don’t understand why so many people love her so much. I was thrilled she went home so early in the first season.
From watching Drag U, I honestly thought that Raven and Juju drove each other crazy so I was surprised they chose each other right off the bat. When they explained what good friends they are, their antagonistic behaviors made a lot more sense to me. I grew up in a family where the family mantra was, “If I didn’t pick on you, how would you know I loved you?” So the closer I consider a friend, the more flack I give them to their face. If I don’t like you, those things will be said behind your back.
I almost forgot! I loved watching Chad perform in this episode. ^^ And I loved his look too. So glad he’s back! Is anyone else hoping Sharon will make a guest appearance at some point? Maybe on the judges’ panel or something? As a huge Sharon Needles fan, I was kinda disappointed that she wasn’t returning but I do understand why. Also, I’m hoping that Willam will be in Untucked every episode because Willam is friken fantastic!
I think I remember Raven and Juju teaming up against Tyra and Tatiana on their season so I think they were always pretty close.
I find Tammie funny but I don’t like her look at all. So I am not a huge fan but I am amused.
Yay for Willam being on Untucked! I thought it was funny that they all said Willam should have been on there instead of Mimi.
Glad someone else agrees with me about Mimi having to probably pull something sneaky to take Alexis’s job. That is why I love Alexis so much. You can just tell she is the sweetest person on the inside. I don’t think she would ever be mean to anyone. She was the nicest queen on her season. So it super pisses me off Mimi might have screwed her like that. I also love her beauty pageant queen Disney Princess look. I want her to make outfits for me.
I am going to get flamed for it, but I was not impressed with Chad or Shannel this episode. I felt they were a little off their game and that is why they ended up in the bottom. I thought Chad and Mimi kinda sucked on that LSFYL. Besides the Roger Rabbit moment, I was bored.
@april I agree with you about chad and shannel – I think their problem was ego, and over thinking it ( like always saying they are uber professionals/that trying to be avant garde in the photo shoot ) It didn’t really work and it was kinda boring. I hope they bring it next time.
Alexis is classy and mimi is trashy shade…there has to be more to the job story …
I’m thrilled to see Alexis back. She is my all time favorite. I totally agree about Tammy being creepy… ewww, those eyebrows! Aren’t our Queens suppose to make us jealous of their beauty? She’s such a dawg!
I’m really upset that there’s only 6 episodes…… these All-Stars deserve more than that!
@Chooch850, my all-time favorite is Tatianna, so when Raven was going on and on about how Mimi didn’t belong as an All-Star and that of the 50 queens that were former contestants, I really wished Latrice would’ve made a reference to Tatianna so that Raven’s eyeballs would’ve been stuck in that rolled position he’s got in the confessionals.
I do think Mimi can be considered an All-Star, because picking up India Ferrah during her LSFYL was the most surprising LSFYL moment of the entire series (save Yara Sofia’s complete meltdown, which was just downright sad). If you know that you’re not going to make it far on the merits, why not stand out in another way so that the fans of the show remember you (any publicity is good publicity).
I absolutely hate that they changed the name from “Interior Illusions Lounge” to “All-Star Lounge.” WTF?
Sugarbush, will you be recapping the Untucked episode as well as the regular episode? I know from @vallegirl’s recaps the past two seasons, not everyone watches Untucked, but I watched it on Logo’s website, so I believe they are available to watch there. I know we’ve discussed Untucked on @vallegirl’s thread in the past and I think it would help provide insight on the episode in some cases if you could provide a short summary of the events there. Just my two cents.
@Derek Hazelton – I sure will! I’ll be integrating the Untucked stuff into the DR recap. The full recap should be up this afternoon!
^ Yasss I cannot wait to really talk some shit.
And Untucked this week was my everything. That shit gave me life anew.
Not trying to change anyone’s minds, but Tammie’s one of my favorites and I’ve met her in person. Her makeup is flawless and she was the only queen who didn’t look like a “drag queen” up close. She’s super sweet and funny one-on-one.
I get that her drag persona is niche to say the least but she’s a great queen, even if it’s more “performance art” instead of traditional “drag.”
Tammie is serving Lucille Ball-esque realness. Not every queen goes for glamourfish.
