It’s Instant Dance Night on Dancing With the Stars! FYI, that’s exactly what it sounds like: Each of the remaining five couples will perform a prepared routine, then draw a mystery song from a mirrorball bowl and work their asses off over the rest of their downtime rehearsing a brand new dance, which they perform in the second half of the show. Since there are so few contestants left, everyone needs to do their very best. They must overcome crippling injuries (My Schnookums), wooden personalities (Hines), crappy scores from last week (Romeo), flagging energy (Kirstie), and douchewad partners (Chelsea). The judges are piling on the high scores in the first half, but what will happen in the second half, when they all have so little time to put their best feet forward (see what I did there)?

So much drama, so little time left! This is the final episode before the breathtaking semi-finals, and to land a spot in the top four, our stars will have to pull out all the stops and show the judges and audience that they have what it takes to stay in the game. Come back later this week for a full recap of Instant Dance Night, BlueCanary-style, and follow up with us as TheNooch recaps the results show, and we find out who is denied the chance to shimmy into the semis.

BlueCanary is as unorthodox a blend of optimistic and bitter, laid-back and anxious, motivated and straight up lazy tas one is likely to meet outside an unspecified institution. She is currently living under the tiny yet powerful thumb of an awesome, pint-sized little dude, who wets himself and can't form full sentences (read: stay at home mom).     What is that birdie thing that kirstie always does at the camera? Every time I see her doing it, I’m like what the hell is that?

    Aww, thanks BlueCanary! I really like Chelsea, but I’m having a hard time rooting for her because he is just so obnoxious this season. It’s like he has to be doubly arrogant since Derek isn’t there.
