EP9CHELSEABACKDOOR

It’s officially the semi-finals of Dancing With The Stars, the last elimination round before the final three couples compete, which basically means we get an answer to which star has retained more fan love from the 1980s: Kirstie Alley, or Ralph “My Schnookums” Macchio. In order to avoid spoilers, I will refrain from having any sort of an emotional outburst in this here minicap. Suffice to say, the emotional outburst would be positive in one case and negative in the other, and I think those keeping up with my recaps known which emotion goes with which star. Confused yet? Too bad—I’m revealing nothing!

Also, we get a whole bunch of musical performances, dancing galore, and the elimination of one of our couples (still not spoiling it, so don’t even ask!). Who will scrape by this week into the final three? How many more tears of pride does Carrie Ann have stored in her eye sockets? How will any of you live without this show being so succinctly recapped each week? The answers to these questions and more will be revealed in the full recap, so drop back in later this week!

BlueCanary is as unorthodox a blend of optimistic and bitter, laid-back and anxious, motivated and straight up lazy tas one is likely to meet outside an unspecified institution. She spent the past decade holding a variety of job titles, including reporter, tech writer, production manager, and administrative assistant (the go-to job in this economy for folks who just HAD to get that English degree).
