Minicap: DWTS All-Stars

Greetings, Gasmii! I type this with very cold fingers because I waited in line for about 90 minutes outside in order to vote. It was bittersweet. As a concerned citizen, I was happy to see so many people (especially people my age and younger) coming out to vote. However, I was fucking cold! Anyway, let’s get onto the important voting-related thing - this week’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars.” This week is fusion dance week! Our couples will be combining two dances into one. As expected, this results in just a lot of awkward.

I did enjoy the attack ads that the contestants ran on one another. After all the real attack ads I was seeing all night, a bit of satire was a welcome break. Honestly, nothing too interesting happened tonight. There was dancing, there were scores, no one is going home this week. There was also a swing dance marathon. It was kind of boring. Maks once again dedicated his dance to those affected by Hurricane Sandy…or Superstorm Sandy…whatever they’re calling it now. That Maks is such a giver. Next week, he’ll be doing a samba for peace in the Middle East.

Check back soon for the full recap. In the mean time, check out last week’s recap if you haven’t already!

I <3 all the ads that ran against each other. Best. Political. Ads. Ever.

I still hate Val and Kelly, and I would LOVE to know what the judges were smoking while judging the group dance-off.

I was on the phone with a friend when they ran the “Actors vs. Athletes” ad. As soon as the narrator said, “Haven’t they won enough?” I started cackling right into the phone!
