fns5Happy 4th of July, ‘Gasmii!  Hope your burgers are moist and properly seasoned.  Also, I hope you’ve got your culinary point of view–and personality–screwed on tight. You’re going to need it.

This week, we were visited by Fieri Godmother, Guy.  I don’t actually know what happened during most of his initial segments because I was watching True Blood. (Sorry, I know you hate when I do that.)  I tuned in for the last half hour, which involved everyone cooking outside for a 4th of July/BBQ-themed challenge.  From the looks of all the layers and long sleeves on everyone, I bet this was filmed in, ya know, November.  Anyway, looks like this week was a shake-up, where people who normally have done so well are faltering, and dark horses are galloping ahead.  I honestly can’t think of a true front-runner right now.  Can you?  Come back later this week to talk about it!  I’ll have watched the WHOLE THING by then. (Wednesday, since I’m too caught up with enjoying my family, friends, and chips-n-dip to spend the day writing a recap!) See you then!!!

About

Time for an update! I used to be a tall, athletic editor who lived on the East coast. Oh, I still am, only now I've gained back all the weight I lost, which changes my life-tone quite a bit. Now that I'm married, I have a lot less time to watch Bravo and Food network. We usually end up watching Big Bang Theory reruns ("all of my friends, all of my friends, all of my friends") or Wipeout. Or WWE Raw. Wow. How life has changed!  Join me as we chat about my breast friend Patti Stanger and her love minions. Or maybe we'll talk about art during Work of Art. Whatever we're watching, don't be shy--tell me what you think!

God, why is this show so boring? Not that I’ll stop watching it, or anything :P
