Minicap–Great Food Truck Race

I learned a lot about Salt Lake City this week.  They’re the sausage capital of the world, or something like that.  The people there who adopt dogs really like Vegan food.  And they also buy a boatload of furniture.  Something else I learned?  You can completely ignore doing a challenge (or a Truck Stop) and not be penalized at all.  In fact, you earn kudos from the host for being clever.  And discounting is very, very bad…

Korilla BBQ was excited to bring their flavors to SLC whereas Devilicious decided to go with a completely new menu.

Don’t they look thrilled?

The Seabirds kept a very positive attitude despite a sausage challenge and being shut out by the Lime Truck.  Hodge Podge did well at both the challenge and furthering the audiences annoyance, so um…good for them?  Roxy’s used their connections for cheaper ingredients (was that government cheese???) and Café con Leche used the government itself…well, the Chamber of Commerce, that is.  In the end…it came down to the last two teams…separated by a mere $159.00.

In the end, seven has become six.  And next week is all about Denver, Colorado.  Full recap will be up in a day or two—check it out!!
