Minicap: Hawaii Five-0

01.21 - 12 - gunsLast night on Hawaii Five-0, Danno gets poisoned, our hyper-stereotypical asian semi-mole slash nemesis makes an appearance, as does Bianca from 10 Things.

So the episode kicks off with an assault on Wo Fat’s safehouse. As the team breaches the door, an explosion goes off. McG charges into the house, and it’s the superasianstereotype in the house instead of Wo Fat. He runs, and gets away from McG, but Danno is hot on his trail, and follows him into another house. However, he stops when he sees a dead guy lying on the floor. He checks for a pulse, and the next thing we see he’s stumbling out the front door of the house and can’t breathe!! He’s rushed to the hospital!!

Five-0 gets hazmat down to the scene, and Bianca recognizes the symptoms of the dead guy as sarin gas, so they tell the doctors that and Danno is saved, but spends the rest of the episode in the hospital.

McG and Bianca chase down the limited trail they have, and find the daughter of the dead guy, who tells them that her dad had some mental issues, and had a funny habit of disappearing. Well, it’s not so funny now I guess, but…yeah.

McG does a video call with the owners of the house, who let him know they’d just let their caretaker go for stealing from them, and right after they’d asked him to make sure the fridge was stocked. Oh, right, the sarin was in the milk. They bring the caretaker in, and while he confesses to skimming some cash, he insists he didn’t kill the guy, but also confesses that he knew of the guy’s issues and let him use the house from time to time, by way of a hide-a-key. They run the prints on the key, and it turns out the owners of the house have a brother! I can’t go any further without spoiling the “mystery,” so I won’t.

Oh, but at the hospital, SpaceGrate hangs out with Danno, and Rachel stops in. Aw. Well, she gets a bit comfortable. McG walks in and sees this, and bails.

Also, IA stops in to tell Jin that, despite the rumors that the inventory of the money that was stolen all those years ago, with the serial numbers, was missing, it turns out it wasn’t! So all that money he borrowed from the bookie, they know isn’t the money he stole!!!
