MiniCap: Hell’s Kitchen

By Medusa | | 8:46 am | 4 Comments

Last week on Hell’s Kitchen, Gina got sent home for not communicating with her team — and ruined any possibility for more Livin’ on a Prayer jokes — and Monty got axed for throwing off the timing on the line at Blue, again and again… and again.

Neither Red or Blue are devastated by the most recent departures. In fact, they’re counting the minutes until they can get rid of more of their teammates. Everyone on Red continues to be at their limit with Elise. After another team challenge loss, Red sits down for an intervention with Elise and they try to explain how damaging her attitude, her approach and her tone are to the team. Her throat is starting to get sore, so she backs down and agrees be more passive.

During dinner service the Red team almost holds it together, it’s just SupaKrupa who slows them down. She ruins more food than a swarm of locusts.

In the blue kitchen, Natalie and Jonathon can’t deliver and Ramsay kicks them out of the kitchen.

Blue finishes service without them, but neither team is awarded the win. They both need to nominate two team members for elimination… and some one’s hangover ends their time in Hell’s Kitchen.

I think it’s clear that the winner of this season is going to be Will, however, I don’t understand why the men always have him on the garnish station, if meat/fish are always the two trickiest stations that require the best chefs.

I completely agree. Unless he suffers 3rd degree burns trying to take the broccolini out of the pan with his bare hands… it’s a lock.

Will like the others rotates each service. He hasn’t been on garnish for a while.

@ Yeschef, I’m not so sure (and I’m too lazy to go back and check). I’ve noticed for the past few weeks that he’s been on garnish often. He might have been on appetizers, but he certainly hasn’t been on the meat/fish station. Both Paul and Natalie were on fish one week and screwed it up. Both Tommy and Jonathon have been on meat often, yet the men complain about their lack of communication skills. It’s clear they lose mainly because they don’t maximize their team’s skill sets. And Will just complains about how awful his team is while he covers what seem to be the easier stations of the dinner service.
