02.17 - 04 - shut up

Alright, so let me go ahead and get this out of the way. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Last night was the final team challenge. They fly in judges from MasterChef France, MasterChef Israel, and MasterChef India to be the judges in this challenge. Because Suzy was the only one who didn’t fuck up Gordie’s dish last week, she gets to choose her teammate. She picks Christian, and they have to decide on a dish. The other team is Cammy and Adrien. I doubt I have to spell it out for you, but team hothead doesn’t gel so well. Suzy wants to do an “upscale Thanksgiving Dinner.” Christian says from the start that he thinks it’s a bad idea. Well, since Christian listens to no one, no one listens to Christian. This was a big mistake by Suzy. YoAdrien and Cammy do some lobster and prawn dish. All in all, this is better received by the international judges. That means exactly what you think it means. The pressure test is Christian vs. Suzy. Which means that whole “WHOOOOOOOO!” didn’t really give much away.

The elimination test is lemon mirengue pie. Born Again has never made this, and Suzy bakes all the damn time, so this seems a bit one-sided. However, Christian has something that she doesn’t…arrogance? No…Intelligence? Definitely not. I think it’s that he isn’t so ungrateful like she is, but I don’t know how to put that into a word. But whatever that word is, he has that. As a result, he’s able to make the pie challenge a real competition. So what happens? You’ll find out soon enough.

Dangerously is a Southern boy misplaced in windy Chicago. He spends most of his time wandering around Chicago hoping for a random encounter with Graham Elliot...(I bet that guy gives the best hugs!).

Either way, I was thrilled by the outcome. The idea of both being in the finale was very depressing, thank goodness miracles DO happen!
