Greetings Gasmi! I’m Pollyanna and I get the awesome task of recapping My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding! This will be my first official recap, so I hope you enjoy it! While I’m working on it, here is an idea of what’s coming.
Our Gypsy family of the week is planning an extravagant…Thanksgiving. I’ve never thought of Thanksgiving as a holiday to have a wild party for. Then again, I’ve never worn a dress with enough rhinestones to rival Liberace. We follow them through the planning and dress buying, even a trip to Atlantic City. Will they have the ultimate Big Fat Gypsy Thanksgiving? Check out the full recap in the next couple days to find out!

Welcome Pollyanna! Didn’t Sondra say whom ever has the most bling wins? Using my sons favorite number, I am sitting here typing in a granny nightgown with a bizillon stones. I can’t wait for the recap. One of the big differences I see with this show vs its European counterpart is these people talk about money. Not dollar amounts but what money can buy. The other show never discusses money.
So this was my first time watching and I had no idea what I was seeing. I couldn’t stomach it yet somehow I couldn’t turn away. I anxiously await your take…

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the congrats. For my first recap, Sondra didn’t return my call, so I bedazzled The hell out of a shirt and shorts. I’m so excited to recap this show, but I’ll admit I didn’t even know where to start. There are so many things to discuss! I should have the finishing touches done by tonight, so I’ll get to see what everyone thinks:)

Dolores Umbridge becomes a Gypsy Bride…..I watched a new one ( I think) last night where a non gypsy girl (about 18..and a mom) married a adorable gypsy..well the poor thing looked like Dolores Umbridge ( a very evil teacher in the Harry Potter movies) The show is so strange the brides sisters had to put on a song and dance show on a stage in front of the bridal house ..for the gypsy town to show off their goods..very sick since one of the sisters was very young .. You would never think this stuff happens in the United States!
