Aria’s parents are jerks!  They ban her from seeing the boyfriend she was keeping a secret from them just because he happened to be her teacher and their relationship was inappropriate and illegal!  Oh, the humanity.  So there’s a lot of mopey, sad Aria in this episode, so look forward to THAT.

Other than that (which is enough, believe me), there’s not much of a B-story this week as the PLL Gang tries to figure out as much as they can about “A.”  With Caleb’s help, they discover some files on the cell phone.  Will the files show them more about “A?”  Not really.

Hanna’s planning a surprise birthday party for Caleb and the party goes off without a hitch — no one reveals that he/she is harboring a dark secret that may ruin everything, and no one disappears on a creepy, fog-enshrouded lake.  Except all of that totally happens.  In the end, a much beloved character may be dead!  Instead of Ezra.  Who deserves to die.

    Thanks for this!! Last night epi is in the DVR! Was watching the LSU game with company….Was kind of tempted to say, Hey PPL is on, mind if I change it!! :)

    I watched on abcfamily. Did Lucas jump out of the row boat? Did our little Hanny push him?? I MUST KNOW!!!!!!!!!

    hanna hit him with the paddle & he fell off the boat. i think he’s still alive though!

    Ugh I am way beyond tired of the Ezra/Aria storyline. And I’m thinking Lucas was going to say something along the lines of being in love with Hanna or spilling some deep dark secret about Caleb. I don’t think it’s what they are wanting us to think it is. Or something like that.

    I really wish Hanna had made birthday cupcakes!

    @Tessa – I totally agree! I thought that set up of Lucas was a little too easy. I’m just glad someone on this show finally acknowledges the creep factor of Ezria.

    Oh and I’m interested in what’s up with Mona and whatshisface and their shady swim. They seem to be cahooting with someone.

    Also, did anyone see the promos for the Cinderella movie with Aria? Wtf.

    PLL peeps: I’m sick, and I can’t really afford to miss work, so the recap will probably be a day late because tonight is all about Emergen-C, 80s rom coms, and Nyquil. I have to go before the Nyquil kicks in aee38ugjiikiiiiiii999999u99999999999999999999.

    Are we going to have a double recap? Its is still freaking snowing at my house. Cant vet out of my parking spot, let alone the car that is in the garage… I have only left my house to get the mail. Snow has been falling since 6 am. It is now noon. I am going crazy! I am also out of milk…getting low on food options…and the cupcake shop that delivers, well they are closed!!

    Oh no! Hey guys — I’m so sorry about last week’s recap. Since I was sick and had company, it never got done. And I still had company this week, so I wasn’t able to recap the most recent one (I haven’t even seen it yet), so someone else should be posting it soon! I’m so sorry, my little PLL cupcakes. The next week’s recap will be timely and hilarious. Well, timely at least . . .
