This week’s episode opens with a white elephant holiday party hosted by Carole. Pleather and Lu meet the Hornysaurus for the first time, and he does not disappoint. Every gift is sex-related as seen through George’s glasses. Even an iguana can’t escape the clitoral treatment.
Pleather has pulled together a photo shoot for Lady Morgan’s toaster oven. The first campaign will be under the direction of the professional team, while the other will be under the direction of the lady hawking her kitchen prototype. $onja is an hour late and shows up like she just rolled out of bed. Menstrual flooding of epic proportions doesn’t exactly get the photo shoot magic flowing any faster.
Pleather’s dream team has high hopes that Sonja will go with their campaign, but $onja never had any intentions of going along with their plan. Everyone throws up their hands, but they’re also excited to be able to get back to their day jobs that actually pay real money instead of used tampons and Pizza Rolls from a toaster oven.
All of the ladies meet at Carole’s place to learn that she has finished her manuscript and is heading to St. Barth’s to see her boyfriend perform. Cool Cat Carole is excited to be going and invites everyone to join her. Carole sets out a big bowl of M&Ms for sustenance. Pizza Rolls from the toaster oven doesn’t sound so bad anymore, does it? Aviva has some hesitation about going to St. Barth’s, but the other ladies are encouraging her to at least consider downing a Costco-sized bottle of Xanax and joining them.
Ramonster launches her red wine, in conjunction with being heavily air brushed on the cover of two magazines. Instead of keeping the focus on the wine and the wonder of air brushing, she wants to hear $onja’s version of the toaster oven photo shoot. Feeling that Pleather steamrolled $onja, Ramonster confronts Pleather with the Ramonster version of the $onja version. Everybody still with me? In the real world, it would get sorted out, but in RHONY land, the ladies are just keepin’ it real and giving us what we want.
$onja invites everyone to a party being held by one of her friends, someone she considers a real jet-setter. Aviva obliges bringing up wine gate for this episode. Lu and Pepe le Pew continue with the same defense that it was to showcase Ramonster’s wine. Madam Palindrome doesn’t care to accept that as an answer, so it goes on and on until Pepe starts playing the piano.
