   Don’t we all have conflicting schedules at times? It’s part of life.
   As far as Ramona and Sonja are concerned all they would be required to say is, “I’m sorry I couldn’t be a part of the class. I hope it was a huge success”. Nothing about good etiquette requires you to go into any detail about your personal circumstances.
   I found it disconcerting that Avivia felt it was acceptable to blow up at the host and a guest at a lunch that she was graciously invited to. Keep peddling that dignity storyline, avivia

   ITA! That was just all kinds of wrong! I understand her passion for her charity but that was a scolding she served up! How old are we???

   I liked Aviva in the beginning, but between her phobias and her leg obsession (“I’m just like everyone else! Don’t look at me like I’m an amputee!” “Waaah I can’t do anything because my leg traumatized me!” well, which is it?), I’m starting to loathe her. And her sarcastic dismissal of Sonja’s sick dog with the lame “excuses are like assholes…” sealed the deal with me. If my 17-year-old-dog lost bladder control and could possibly be dying–you could see the deep pain on Sonja’s face–it would be totally devastating if you love your animals like family. Aviva’s selfish rage made me want to rip her leg off and shove it up her cooch. Why not bring up the dog? Sonja’s excuse was better than Ramona’s “rash”. Aviva, shut the fuck up.

   Love Carole. You can tell sometimes that class and breeding go clear to the bone with some people, and she’s an example. How FUN would Carole be to chat with over a beer??!!

   This is gonna sound mean and and I apologize for any hurt feelings…but does anyone else want to rip Aviva’s leg off and beat her with it??? then go down the line, but stop before you hit Carole who is the only reason to watch this clusterf*#k of a show?!

   Is it me or has Ramona finally putting the “Kelly is nuts!” to rest? This woman is seriously crazy.

   Loved how she managed to stay away from Heather at that party by running in every direction but the door after she screamed at her then tried to vanish into the crowd. Love that Heather has shown what a complete idiot Ramona is: something that has been evident since Season 1 but glossed over because Jill was so obnoxious and Kelly so dumb.

   Does Ramona ever watch herself on this show? Does she ever consider that she may be wholly inappropriate at times? My guess is that she is so much in love with herself she does not see beyond her scenes. “I’m so smart, such a great mother, a fantastic business woman, blah, blah, blah” that she has come to believe it.

   Her interaction with Heather seems to be causing her to panic since Heather refuses to “give in” and make nice like Jill so often did with the “love and kisses routine” that got old fast.

   Ramona is a “hit and runner”, racing to exit whenever her insanity comes out to play. Love that Heather is giving her a run for her money at long last.

   I’m glad to see the Aviva dislike, that scene hit me the wrong way. I know Ramonster and Sonja are tweeddle dee and tweedle dumb and if they both bailed on me via text I would be suspicious, but Aviva let that frustration get to her and she acted like an ungracious asshole. Great charity, great outcome, let it go. Ramona even gave her a check! Hello, she had a dermatology visit and didn’t want to be all red-faced on camera, I love how everyone pretends being televised doesn’t change things.

   I feel for Sonja, although her excuse started to sound kind of like thrown together bs the more she talked, but you shouldn’t fluster people by hounding them. It is possible Sonja just didn’t feel like cycling and she shouldn’t feel obligated to. Jesus, where was the LuAnn hate since she showed up just to get camera time, totally not realizing it was for charity?

   Aviva is used to be catered to. What she fails to understand is that these women feel just as entitled to the same treatment.

   @Jaime….girl, I couldnt agree with you more…esp about the a##hole toast….I really would like to know her definition of dignity bc she hasnt brought a microliter of dignity to the show….she is nothing but a paranoid uncouth hypocrite.

    I think we all seeing Aviva’s veneer getting crackly. She is entitled–of course she is. She lost her leg as a small child in a very frightening way. Her parents more than compensated for it. She feels Ramona and $onja rejected her–they didn’t. They opted out—didn’t feel like going—had a thing to do. Ramona had a rash out-break –that could have been contagious and not good for the small kids) and $onja’s dog was sick. We know Lady Morgan’s problem — no one tells her what to do, she won’t take ownership of any thing that smells of conflict or controversy. She screwed up and let you down. I heard your yelling—let her apologize and move on. Its a long season Aviva and you have the reunion to get thru and you want to come back. And you will as being RELATED TO A PRODUCER.

    I love reading comments, because it seems like there’s a universal reaction to this episode. The reunion will be interesting to see which ladies stick together and which ones grow to despise each other.

    Seeing a sweet and brave little boy excited about a pair of prosthetic legs was the only redeeming quality of this episode. It did make me cry a little bit…I wish him all the best. My heart goes out to him and his parents…
    However, Aviva did look like a skinned feral honey badger during Ramona’s dinner. Who is she, a Charity Nazi? At least Ramona did a right thing and offered a check, apologies, and an excuse. Maybe the excuse was lame, but it is better than saying “I didn’t give a f…”. And most important, the charity is getting her check, so it shouldn’t be a big deal. And did they even have enough stationary bikes for everybody? By the way, spinning to Lu’s song? WtF?! I might just drop dead at the beginning of the class, without all the sweat…

    I can sympathize with Sonja. I can understand Ramona’s excuse as well. However, they messed up by going on and on about it. Carole said don’t bring up the dog just apologize for being absent and move on. Carole knew that Aviva isn’t a dog owner and would not understand or frankly (my dear) give a damn.

    The excuse about the dog and crying was just too much. It made her story hard to swallow as MrsMiaWallace has pointed out.

    Ramona made everything right by giving a check which is what counts at the end of the day. Cycling for a cause is cute but it’s the money that counts. Sonja should’ve offered a check as well. I mean what’s the point of going to a charity event if you’re not raising or giving money? Also just because you have your own causes doesn’t mean you can’t support someone else’s charity too. Ramona did it right. Sonja not so much.

    With that said Aviva’s reaction was so over the top. I guess a producer whispered in her ear to bring on the crazy or get shipped out/be edited out, which means a smaller salary.

    I agree with all of the comments about Carole, but want to point our that while she is one classy broad, she is also the embodiment of the saying class cannot be bought (are ya listening ‘Lu’?). In her first book she talks frankly about her working class upbringing, I think she would be the first to point out her background couldn’t exactly be termed “well bred.”. Can’t wait to see if she returns for next season.

    Boy oh boy, Lu (she loves it when I call her that) got so very excited when the spin (doctor) director played her song!! Make it louder!! I wonder if she gave Aviva a check? I have a feeling Aviva may have advertized that the Real Howives were going to be at her charity event and that’s why the Countless’s song was available (wonder if she got royalities ?, pun intended) and that’s why Aviva got all up in Ramona and Sonja’s faces about not coming to the event.

    And we have all seen how cheap Lu is – made Bethenny pay for surfing lessons, didn’t pay the Dunderfucks or whatever that band was called, their presence was probably what Aviva was selling to get people in and donating.

    So it sucks that two didn’t show, but four others did and at the end of the day Aviva is annoying and shrill. Not a honey badger because they are badass, Aviva is a Naked Mole Rat, all squinting and wrinkly and albino with even her hair looking skin colored.

    On the bright side, that boy getting running blades was amazing. Second best RH moment after the ATL ladies giving to that school/orphanage in South Africa. I just kept thinking how much boys like technology and gadgets and how those things must be the coolest for a kid to have.

    With Aviva on this one. I do think her reaction at the luncheon though, was directed by producers to create some extra conflict between her and Ramona/Sonja. Sonja’s dog is old and has chronic health problems. She was trying to act like it was some crisis or emergency that had to be attended to that day. If her dog had liver problems and incontinence he has needed special treatment for quite awhile. I think she and Ramona just didn’t want to go and were giving self serving and ridiculous excuses as to why they didn’t show. They should have just given checks and declined to attend. At least Ramona did give a check but Sonja was too cheap.
    Lost all respect for Sonja this season with her tampon episode, her lack of generosity to others, egocentrism and her explanations for her bad behavior. Can appreciate the intelligence of Heather, Carole and Aviva (in comparison to Sonja and Ramona) but still find them, esp. Heather, not really likeable as people to get to know.

    Is it me, or if you want someone to be at an event on a certain day, you confirm with them a night or two before? I’ve been an Aviva fan from the beginning of the season, but if @featherhead is right and the RHONY were advertised as coming to the event, then it was on Aviva or Aviva’s team to confirm that all the ladies would be in attendance and, even better, be aware that the event was for charity!

    If Sonja needed an intern to insert a tampon last week, and a big deal was made in an earlier episode of her having three college interns in her home because she is unable to deposit a $2 check in the bank, why couldn’t one of them take the dog to the vet? And, if the dog needed to be put down, call Sonja and not do anything until she arrived?

    I thought Sonja and Mario were doing the nasty, but the more I watch Sonja and Pinot together it seems more likely that they’re dipping in each other’s lady pools. I mean, what’s with all the sex talk (especially during those saggy skin treatments), and the holding hands, showering together, “you make me horny” comments, etc?

    Just vom, even thinking about them with all that puckered, saggy, bloated wrinkled skin wallowing around like pigs in one bed. Meanwhile, Mario’s out there grossing out 20 year olds with his own wrinkled ass. I’ve got to quit watching this shit.

    Derek Hazleton you have a point. Why not get one of the unpaid interns to do it. The interns crack me up. She was complaining about the lack servants now that she’s no longer “Lady Morgan” so she gets these interns to be her servants for free. Your idea makes sense and is probably what most people in that situation would do but then there’d be no drama.

I don’t want to hear or know about any of it….hated luanns comment while swimsuit shopping….actually threw up into my nose when sonja made the comment about ramona in the drs office….i may be wrong and i hope all yall will correct me if i am, but some things should be kept private….and the last….i mean the very LAST thing that I ever want to hear about is old ppl sex…..sorry….but it does nothing but turn me off

    @14 BSL– I noticed in the opening credits that someone with the last name of Dresher is connected to the show– nad Reid is related to Fran Dresher. I may be assuming my butt off–but am sure I am on the right vein with her.

    Hey guys – I haven’t watched this show in ages (b/c I can’t stand any of these women) but I just read Tim Gunn’s book and he had a funny anecdote in it. When Countess Lulu was writing her etiquette book, she asked him to write a prologue, but he said no b/c he has a deal with a different publishing company. She then said she’d write it for him, and he repeated that the issue wasn’t that he didn’t have time to write it, but that he couldn’t do it b/c of his other deal. So she then emailed him back that she was going to do it anyway and put his name on it!! He responded that he’d have his lawyer contact her immediately. He didn’t hear back from her after that. And, as he said, this was for an book about MANNERS! Just thought I’d share…
