I’m so pissed that I have to buy a new toaster oven bc mine is ju$t not $exy enough!
I’m loving how Holla does things a bit differently than Ramona. Instead of throwing fools out of her charity event she tells them the fuck off! Go Heather!! I’m over Carole and Aviva is a pyscho hosebeast.

I agree, my love for Carole has waned a bit. She’s not technically wrong on anything but it seems like she’s trying to be above the antics of the show and we (the viewers) are not here for that. She shouldn’t have signed on if she’s too good for all of this, which she is.

I hate that Sonja tests my love for her by occasionally behaving like a rude, spoiled, entitled ungrateful asshole.

Ramona is one of those people that has no filter and as such, occasionally says what we’re all thinking, and in those moments it’s great, like when she calls Aviva out on being a psycho. Most of the time though, she’s just a rude, out of control, tactless witch. And I personally hate it in real life when people use the defense ‘i’m just being honest, I have no filter’, because even if what you are saying is true, there are times when it is rude, mean, uncalled for and hateful.

Kind of loving Heather, never really got the dislike for her in the first place.

Aviva is obsessed, neither she nor her Father will rest until Ramonja have properly apologized for ‘bullying’ her. They also won’t let anyone else on the cast or their husbands forget about their (Ramonja’s) great offenses either. And tbh, Ramona did not go right to having George thrown out, she said many times that she didn’t want to talk about it there, he kept pushing the issue which is when she asked him to leave. Instead of doing so, he lingered to hit on Carole which is when Ramona had him thrown out. Not saying I would have gone that far, but he was not some simpering decrepit old man who simply came to deliver the check, as Aviva is convinced. What is with her telling people what ocurred at events she wasn’t present for? Ugh. She’s a shrew

I ‘m with you guys. I’m over Carole, because she seems so blinded by Aviva’s venom. I would think that Carole is the one who would say” Wait a minute, there are always two sides of each story”. But she seems to agree with Aviva on everything. Also, she won’t see her own blame in dividing the ladies during their vacation. Carole is smart and witty, but she tried to play the game to hard.
Aviva.. Ughh. She looked so ugly in a show. So a 40 something mother of children parading in a teddy in front of many people is o.k., but swimming topless in a private pool isn’t? She looked like an old slut, I’m sorry to say that. Too much make up, too little clothing. I wonder what her perw daddy would say… Or maybe, I don’t want to know…
Sonja and Ramona…Yeah, sometimes they are difficult to deal with, but when it comes to their battle with Aviva, I am on their side 100%.

This has been a strange season. Heather was a welcome addition. She is really the only one that I would ever want as a friend, but she may not bring enough drama for Bravo.

Aviva certainly brings a perverse sense of drama, but it sure isn’t for me. Ramona and Luanne have both grown tiresome. Carole floated through the season aided by her hidden joints and a disinterest that was annoying.

Sonja seems to have fallen over board and is in dire need of a lifesaver, but the boat is too far in the distance.

Don’t know if this franchise can or should be saved. It was mostly an unremarkable year with a cast and story lines that wouldn’t even have made it on to soap operas of old.

BSL, you have done a wonderful job making the tired franchise spark with interest. More often than not, your recaps were far more exciting and enjoyable than the actual shows. Thank you for putting some fun back into the RHONY.

Also over Carole. She tries so hard to be cool but EVERY SINGLE EPISODE is about how she’s this recovering widow and how her life is still so difficult, it’s quite depressing. It’s like her husband is still this gigantic shadow hovering over her whenever they have an ‘I’m speaking to the camera alone in my gracious drawing room’ moment. She may be fun to hang with in-person but she makes for boring reality TV.

RamonJa is full of win, and Heather is awesome too.

Aviva was literally making me cringe this episode. I can’t deal with her & her antics, and it seems contrived for the camera.

LuAnn is boring but her job isn’t to be involved in drama, it’s to start the drama.

Why can’t we time warp back to the original cast + Kelly Bensimon… I miss the Scary Island episodes. The best ever!

I have read the ladies blogs and I still don’t understand why they think that Ramona was wrong for asking George to leave. Ramona is a victim of abuse so while something may seem harmless to you it may seem like a big deal to her.

I was happy to see that Ramona realized that Sonja was almost baiting her into fighting her fights. Sonja would drop the bomb and Ramona would go in like a pitbull because she thought she was helping Sonja in her time of need.

With all that being said why can’t anyone be the mediator in these situations. It’s as if they are scared to hurt one another’s feelings but will bash them behind their back.

I have this conversation all the time. “friend you are wrong wrong wrong you should apologize for at least the part that you played in this situation.” Or “friend you owe your boyfriend/husband a out of the blue BJ or something because you were super wrong”

@ 5 RomoSheDiNT – honestly, if I was Carole I’d be pissed at them – they kinda did put a damper on things with their whining about her boyfriend being there (which they all knew going in so why complain about it after the fact????) and the “double date” (Good lord, get over it already – who freaking cares? it was one night out what, six?) and then they completely blew off the concert (Again, one of the reasons they were there to begin with) to get shitfaced back at the house. I think that would REALLY piss me off – talk about rude. I would be MORE pissed at Aviva for ruining the trip with her shit stirring but yeah – I think any anger Carole has towards Ramonja about the trip is well placed. I do NOT get why Carole’s such an Aviva fan….

Never thought I’d come out of this season with Heather as my fav…Holla. I loved the way she handled Sonja and Ramona at her charity event and I liked that even though she was pissed at Avivia she realized it wasn’t worth her time to fight that battle – what’s done is done.

I found it odd that Avivia was comfortable showing so much skin – she’s such a frigid bitch and uptight prude in all other situations!

Oh and note to Avivia – your father is not a defenseless old man. He pushed the situation with Ramona and got what he deserved.

I wonder if Aviva will ever cop to how “ungracious” she was to take off the jacket after she was clearly told the models didn’t have the authority to alter the designer’s vision — or if she’ll even be “gracious” enough to even mention it, even though Heather did not. What a nasty, arrogant, hypocrite. Heather should have ripped off her leg and shoved it up her ass.

@labowner #7 – Word!! I have a feeling that Carole fell out of like with Ramonja after they blew off Russ ‘s concert specially since it was the reason they all went to St. Barths in the first place. I’m sure there was some worrying going on when they didn’t arrive at the concert. They just blew it off without telling anyone.
I’m glad Ramona finally sees that Sonja says one thing to her and then denies it to the other.

Aviva is so vain she actually got more of her leg voluntarily cut off just so she could get cooler fake legs…This article from 13 years ago captures the spoiled, coddled brat she still is today perfectly.

    http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Zone%3A+I+lost+my+leg+in+an+accident+at+the+age+of+6,+but+I+fought+to…-a060390961

And I was starting to like Carole, but she’s getting on my nerves now and she’s boring.

I want to know the deal between Sonja and Heather. Did Sonja pay for some of the services? Or is it her old rich wife ways bleeding over.

And Ramona was right to ask George to leave. I mean Aviva acts like he is a decrepit 80 year old in a wheelchair and it was dark and snowing and he had no ride home. George is perfectly capable of leaving quietly and getting home safe.

Rich people and their charity events kill me. Let’s throw an expensive ass party while making ourselves feel good, but “it’s about the children without legs.”

Best line of the season–Maybe if she had paid for her education, she would use it.

I was hoping that Heather screamed in Aviva’s face “it’s not about you! It’s about the kids with missing organs!!” She had some nerve taking off that jacket before she headed down the runway. She was told in no uncertain terms – No.
I don’t think Sonja paid anything to Heather and crew for all their work. That’s why she had absolutely no right to complain. I also think she didn’t even make a donation at Heather’s charity – she was there for the free booze. Heather brought that up to her face after she caught Ramonja talking about her in the hallway.

Shine is off the Carole like. She’s not such a cool chick anymore. And, could the fingerless biker gloves be any more pretentious? Come on, your a 40 something woman who lives in NYC and writes books. Loose the gloves already.

Ended up liking and respecting Heather after a rocky start. LuLu came off kind of bland this season. I think she missed her bitch sisters Shill and Kelly.

As much as they provide light hearted entertainment I’m growing tired of Ramonja’s antics. HOWEVER, I think they both have good intentions and come from a good place but they just don’t express themselves in the best way.

Adiva. OY. She’s a spoiled, ungrateful, neurotic, shrill harpy who need never grace my TV screen again. How dare she accuse Ramona of callously having her elderly father forcibly ejected from her party! As someone mentioned above, she asked him several times politely not to get involved and when he persisted in persuing an apology and grabbed her arm she asked him nicely to leave. It was only after asking him several more times, when he ignored her, that she asked for some help in having him escorted out. Totally within her right as the hostess of the event to an uninvited guest who is acting inappropriately.
Aviva would be ranting to everyone in the UES if the tables were turned and Ramona had sent Mary-O in to her charity event, got in her face, grabbed her arm, tried to try to force an apology out of her and then ignored her if asked to leave. She would be livid!
How is what she did OK? And, why TF didn’t anyone stand up for Ramona at the last event? Do they all dislike her that much or do they not want to argue with Aviva knowing she’ll never let it rest.
I really felt badly for her.

The problem with Carole isn’t that she’s not trashy enough to be a Real Housewife. Just that if the show was an outfit, her kind of trashiness would be an accessory that didn’t go.

Heather’s still annoying. But it might be because I’ve got a pet peeve about mimes and geishas that don’t wipe their makeup off between shows.

Since I found out from you guys about her being Mary Lou Retton’s long lost older smile twin I’ve got more sympathy for her though.

Aviva and her dad would make such a good vaudeville act! Plus they’re useful. In case you ever get in an argument. With somebody that says there’s a limit to what people will do to get some $.

While Ramona is far too pickled at this point, Hornysaurus did grab her arm with a little too much force for my liking, so I don’t blame her one bit for her reaction at the time. However, her re-enactment with Carole was so over-the-top ridiculous. If she would just take it down a few notches, I believe she could actually be pleasant, but then it wouldn’t be the Ramonacoaster that I’ve come to love to hate. Aviva …Oh Lordy! Am so glad that there is Heather Love– HOLLA!!!! I want to have drinks with her b/c that girl can hold her liquor. ANd she has brought “clusterf&%#” back into popular use–try using it in a sentence today.
I had so much love for Carole–my girl crush and she seems so over this show and these ladies. I think she came to promote her book and TV show–I cant fault her for that. I think she is off after this season–I doubt BRAVO pulled a NJ and did the consecutive filming so no one can escape.

@9 Valley– yes!! Aviva you cant be both victim and martyr–so pick one (whispering–Martyr’s get only one day to have candles lit to them making it all about them–as Mama Cawfee always says “Choose wisely”.)
And I demand to know all the languages she speaks–we have English, French (a phrase), legalese (I’d like to see her law degree and find out if she actually passed the bar exam), shrew, whine, entitlement, relentless and what else????????

Ahhhh… harpy and clusterf&%# back into popular useage– season wasn’t a total loss right????

George is so gross I can barely stand to watch scenes with him. First of all, he looks like an oompa loompa with that orange skin. And those teeth remind me of the Friends episode where Ross overbleached, lol. Aviva needs to go, she could go down in history as the world’s most annoying housewife. What a spoiled egomaniac.

I read that article that was posted in here about Aviva and it was interesting b/c it was from so long ago when she was still dating Harry yet it sounds exactly the same to what she still talks about today. Like even the way she talks about Harry as her husband sounds like the same thing she would say about her husband now. I know people don’t change basically but I think in this case it just further confirms to me that she is a broken record that is going to keep saying the same things until she dies. Also from the way she described how her parents handled her amputation, it seems that they are the ones who instilled such a fear and anxiety in her. As much as she wants to be a role model for amputees, I dont think she is one. More like what not to be like.

I wish I like Carole more. Heather surprised me and I hope she and Sonja can work it out. You know things got weird when my favorites are Sonja and Ramona. WTH?

Reality – It is probably two-fold. One I believe she is jealous they can be “successful women” and still let loose like they do. How many women do you know of that age who will gladly disrobe in front of cameras? Something is holding her back from having real fun. Can’t just be the leg. Two she probably sees flashes of her drunken mom when she was watching those two party like college girls and it doesn’t bring back pleasant memories.

I am going to assume she excuses her dad’s behavior away because he is her dad and maybe was the care taker when mom was doing her hand to mouth exercises.

@Jp I agree that Avivas parents attitude did a lot to create her phobias. When Aviva wrote in her blog that her father encouraged her to “keep screaming for 3 hours” when everyone else was “telling her to be quiet” when her foot was caught. I thought the other people were not trying to just get her to be quiet they were trying to calm her down and reassure her. I thought it was standard procedure when a child was frightened or even when an adult is in a traumatic situation to try and keep them calm and let them know things will be ok. Can you imagine if you are in a car accident and you are trapped in a car what would you prefer the 1st repsonders to say? Keep screaming or calm down it will be ok. we’re here and more help is on the way you will be fine?

I’ve always thought that our of any of the RH franchise, NYC seems to drink the most. Ramona has a serious drinking problem. I remember the first season finale, and how Ramona was happy to be a functioning alcoholic. This past season she seemed to drink more than ever, and Sonja definitely followed suit. I had high hopes for Avila, but she turned out to be psychotic. Carole I didn’t mind in the beginning, but she’s another one I couldn’t stand at the end either. Luann needs to give up the Countess crap. With her divorce comes her losing her precious title. At the beginning g of each show, she says “To some people, living elegantly comes naturally”. But in her crappy song, ‘Money can’t buy you class,” the second line is “Elegance is learned”. So which is it, LuLu?

Aviva is the biggest hypocrite ever. She gave Ramona and Sonja so much shit about not attending her spin class fundraiser (which Heather attended) and then has the fucking gall to take off the jacket she was told not to take off. I can’t wait to see which issue/fuck up in meds she uses to blame her actions on.

Because it can’t and will never be her fault. Ever.

I have really liked Heather from day 1.

    Same goes for Carole.

    Ramona is bat shit crazy.

Carole can do no wrong in my book. She’s always amused by it all, and basically transports us, the viewers into the insanity of this show. You need a Carole on this show.

@Classy: I’m sure a lot of things are played up. In one of the RHONJ threads, someone posted a link to a summary of the drama as per producers. Story lines are created so the film crew isn’t following the housewives, taping hours and hours of nothing.

Carole is the least dramatic, but there is something about her that rubs me the wrong way.

Avila gave Sonja and Ramona crap for not being at her “One Step Ahead” fundraiser. But chickenshit Aviva couldn’t go to Ramona’s domestic violence fundraiser. She sends her perverted dad there instead. This season was the first time that I ever heard about Ramona being a victim of domestic violence.

I hate how Luann and Sonja are always name dropping. At least Carole doesn’t participate in such nonsense.

I looked up Ramona Pinot Grigio and only 19 states carry it. Has anyone ever tasted it?

Was it last season that went bankrupt for backing out of a film contract? I looked up her toaster oven, and it hasn’t been put out because she needs investors. She needs a real job instead of these get-rich-quick schemes.

At the start of the season I had to laugh at Aviva’s panic plan. She has full suits and Cipro. Sounds like a Dooms Day plan. I had a boyfriend who wanted to make a panic room, complete with a full pantry of non-perishables and Cipro. I thought he was the only person out there who thought like this. “Never thought I’d come out of this season with Heather as my fav…Holla. I loved the way she handled Sonja and Ramona at her charity event and I liked that even though she was pissed at Avivia she realized it wasn’t worth her time to fight that battle – what’s done is done.”

I thought it was a cowardly way to handle it, with all due respect. She had no problem confronting Ramonja for their conduct (they shouldn’t have talked during the runway show, granted) but she decided to disregard Adiva’s decision to remove an article of clothing at a fashion show where they are trying to sell clothes to raise money for charity? Seems as though she picks and chooses who to call on the carpet and that person never includes Carole or Adiva.

Adivas decision not to wear that jacket made it crystal clear that it is truly all about her, to hell with the charity. And if I was Heather, that would piss me off more than Ramonja being themselves and talking during the show. If I was a betting woman I would bet that if she asked Ramonja to wear a jacket in a charity fashion show, they wouldn’t take it off.

Sorry so long. I missed the last two episodes and watched them tonight, so it is still fresh to me :-)

I also think that Adiva is jealous of Ramona’s success. Ramona didn’t marry it. She made it and the only small crack Adiva can see to slime through is Ramona’s love of the grape.

There is no way that Ramona looks as good as she does and be as successful as she is if she showed up drunk for work. I think Ramona works hard and plays hard. When Adiva said that she wanted a breakfast meeting with Ramona so she could catch her sober, I thought that was just a bitter bitch talking and I imagined that Ramona had already been up for hrs working; as opposed to Adiva who was choosing which fur collar to wear to her intervention with Ramona.
