Minicap: RHOM

This episode was less drama, more resolution.  Romain and Marta have a sit-down during which my roommate mistook them for a couple.  Because that’s how they fucking behave.  Marta claims Romain’s been distant, and when he tells her that her laziness is what’s pissing him off, she starts crying and tells him he’s not supportive enough of her career.  Poor guy, he’s dating two hot Polish models and not having sex with either of them.  Later on, at a party, Marta tells Joanna that it’s time for Little Sister to head to Lisa’s house.  Joanna’s sad, but doesn’t do anything to stop it. 

At the same party, Lea insults Marysol with a really, REALLY bad joke about the breakup of Marysol’s marriage to Felipe, while, practically in the same breath, invites her to the Black Gala.  Conclusion: Lea’s kind of a cunt.  All the other ladies are pretty preoccupied with their mutual hatred of Karent for the rest of the episode.  At the party in question, Karent just comes across as loud, brash and way too over eager.  She acts like she’s best friends with everyone, she’s constantly tweeting and facebooking everything that happens, and just generally famewhores herself around the entire thing.  She claims at one point that she’s not a celebrity whore, but considering she’s hired a publicist for the express purpose of raising her profile so her business can attract more celebrity clientele, I’M certainly not buying it, and neither are the other ladies.  Joanna’s the only one who comes to her defense, when, at a food and wine tasting for Lea’s gala, Adriana goes all hateful on Karent.  Joanna’s being a good friend, which is cool because it means I can still like her, but Karent’s just coming on too strong for anyone to be comfortable with.  Adriana feels responsible for telling Karent to back off since it was through Adriana’s invitation that Karent was introduced to “the group” in the first place.  She tells Lea and Joanna that she will be confronting Karen with a T very soon, and Joanna warns Karent in advance.  That spectacular confrontation will take place next week, and hold onto your hats, because it looks goooood.
