Howdy, Gasmii! Thanks so much to everyone who’s been reading and commenting on these recaps, and also checking me out on Twitter.  I’m sure you all enjoyed my tweeting the x-ray of my prosthetic tooth last week.  Because nothing is ever TMI for me on Twitter.  Or on the Gasm, for that matter.

Last night was an interesting ep.  First, it’s unusual to find someone in a one-hour ep (that you know was edited down from days’ worth of shooting) who has exactly the same expression throughout the entire ep.  And that expression was, of course:

The likeness is uncanny!

Next, why did almost no one – in Georgia – have a Southern accent?

Except y’all, Miss Fakey McFake.

Third, why did everyone (except Tabs) have the most hideous teeth?  Were they all in England?

And finally, it was like we stepped back into the past.  The “techniques” they were using were super up to date and cutting-edge, weren’t they?

When Eisenhower was president, that is.

    Okay, I totally shit when I saw someone pulling hair through a cap to highlight – what the hell? And would any young women really want to go to a salon when the clientele is all old ladies getting their hair “set” for the week?

    On the other hand, I really expected to dislike these people and figured there would be in-fighting, but they were all a bunch of really nice women – they would totally bring you casserole if you got sick. I would love to have known why the other group left – had to be more to that story! Looking forward to the recap!
